I decide to start our morning breakfast here. And what absolutely incredible and fun experience on the way to magic kingdom park. From the nice train arrival inside the property and the welcoming and friendly staff in the restaurant. The buffet has a lot of delicious options. All the Disney characters were really entertaining the whole time, and each one of them came to our table to say hi and taking some cool pics and they all had the best, kind and most fun charisma. Really an absolutely blast experience and the perfect start to our day at Disney.

Super fun, but quite expensive… I understand you are paying for the experience and the characters, so for us it was worth it. Best buffet food we have ever eaten! And staff made sure every character visited our table before we left. If you can afford it, I totally recommend for great food, staff and photo opps if you didn’t get them at the parks.

one of the busiest restaurants at the Disney World. the wait is long even if you have reservations. add at least 20 minutes to your reservation. the characters are fun. the food is ok and not premium. I personally stayed with protein! they say they have 70 dishes!!! mainly oven roasted salmon, beef loin, chicken curry, and the rest look at pictures. $70+ plus tip and tax per person. staff are friendly and they will make sure you see all the characters. parking is free for 3hrs with your reservation.

This morning, we had the pleasure of dining at Chef Mickey’s with a large group of our family. Despite it being challenging to get reservations, we were all able to sit together— all eight of us.
The food was surprisingly good for a buffet, with lots of options to choose from: scrambled eggs, omelets, yogurt, waffles shaped like Mickey Mouse (of course), bagels and lox, oatmeal, a plethora of fruit, French toast, bacon—seriously, whatever your traditional breakfast choice is, they probably had it available.
Without a doubt, the highlight of breakfast is the character appearances. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy genuinely take their time to make their way around the entire dining hall and connect with every single guest. They’re all fantastic and incredibly patient. Kids were climbing all over them, and they remained perfectly calm while waiting for every photo opportunity.
Our whole family had a fantastic time. I can honestly say you really get your money’s worth from Chef Mickey’s character breakfast. They truly go out of their way to make sure every family leaves happy. It was an excellent way to start our Disney weekend.

Is Chef Mickey’s worth it. Maybe – you meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy and the food is all you can eat. The food is OK though and nothing exceptional. The price is HIGH. You definitely need to plan ahead and get a reservation early (like a few months before) if you want to go.

The characters are great! But the dinner food is bottom barrel Golden Corral level slop. You aren’t paying for the food at all. On the other hand we had a great experience meeting the same characters at Hollywood and vine, and better costumes to boot. Really excellent breakfast spread there.

Chef Mickeys was awesome!!! Had a blast and my grandson loved it. Good variety of food and very tasty. The Mickey waffles were adorable and delicious. The characters take their time and really interact with each table. I will definitely go again. The only small thing is that if your reservation is later in the morning, the wait gets longer, our reservation was for 12:30 and we were seated at 1:25, however gives you a chance to check out the stores and the hotel.

This isn’t a fancy restaurant or anything like that. On the contrary, it’s quite simple; it looks like a food court. You definitely pay for the character experience. The food is a typical buffet, nothing extraordinary. It’s true that if you go with people with average appetites, it’s quite expensive at $70 for a plate of food. Now, if you go with people who really eat a lot, it might be worth the expense. In the end, we had a good time, but like I said, nothing extraordinary.

Very Disney – it was a noon reservation for breakfast- still plenty of food. It was good! Drinks marginal. Each character came to our table – i know they must have been BEAT!

Best meal I have ever had at Disney. Normally I complain about the mandatory 18% tip on large parties but I’m gonna skip that this time, because the food was so good. The dessert options were all awesome. The buffet seemed endless with tons of options, the ribs were near perfect, the buttered chicken was the best I’ve had, and i didn’t have one thing i didn’t try to finish. All 5 of the characters came by and gave the kids plenty of attention, they even had a flash mob to celebrate the birthdays, lots of fun. No park admission required, but pretty pricey.
