Great spot with friendly servers. The meat has a very smoky taste, so if that’s your preference you’ll love it. Reasonable prices in restaurant and very reasonable take out/catering prices as well. Nothing fancy inside and it’s bit warm, but folks don’t come here for a fancy dining experience. I’ll be back soon!

Man this food is awesome. Got the Smoked Bologna Sandwich, Onion Rings, and the Pork BBQ plate with Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, and Potato Salad. All of the food is quite good, but the onion rings are exceptional. We also got the peanut butter ice box pie. Let me tell you, you have to have it. Probably the best dessert I’ve ever had. This is a great local place to get BBQ, and especially better than some of the other options local to South Little Rock. Definitely worth it.

We love 3 Sams! Just passing through town and stopped because it was close to our hotel and the reviews looked amazing.
We had some meat with us, so we ordered sides to take back to the hotel with us for supper. Amazing potato salad and some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had (I don’t even like onions!), and the baked beans were fabulous too. Topped off with a few cookies and a brownie that did not disappoint.
The owner/chef was so friendly and made us feel very welcome in Little Rock. Looking forward to another visit on our way back!

Loved my whole experience here. Reminds me of the small hole in the wall restaurants where I live. Good people, great food! I got the loaded chili dog and it was incredible! Took a slice of peanut butter pie to go, couldn’t resist! Pic of my food with sunglasses for size reference!

I ate here a long time ago and it wasn’t good then. Thought I’d try it again, wasn’t any better, may have been worse than I remember. The brisket was tough like shoe leather and had no flavor. The ribs were over cooked. The sauce was bland. My fiancee had a piece of pie and it was half frozen. The only upside was the girl that waited on us was very nice. But I will not return and don’t recommend coming here. There are far better places in Little Rock for barbecue.

One thing that had me excited about returning to office is eating here for lunch. Haven’t had their loaded baked potato in 2yrs, OMG it’s just as delicious as I remember it! You need these flavors in your mouth, it’ll thank you. The facility is small so seating fills up quick. I always order pickup, never had any issues. The staff moves fast so even if I arrive early, I never had to wait too long for my food. Great place!!

Visiting from Washington and I knew this had to be the last place we would eat before heading home. We totally saved the best for last!
The good was wonderful and the staff even better. Their pork was juicy, smokey, and tasted great! The sauce had a tiny bit of kick to make it more interesting and the onion rings are the best I’ve ever had.
Save room for dessert if possible.

Walked in the door to a great smell of food cooking. This joint is the rebuild of the business that burned down a few years ago. The fly’s love the single door to the dining room from the outside. I went during lunch, but the service was quick when I came in but slow getting my food. I ordered ribs with a side of beans, slaw and onion rings. Several others were served who came in after me before I got my food. My food was served temperature warm which made me think my food may have sat in the kitchen for a minute. The slaw was a little dry; the barbeque beans were good enough to want a second serving. The buttered Texas toast was basted with butter that tasted great. The ribs were tender but so tender it seemed like they may have spent a lot of time in the oven cooking or staying warm. The sauce poured over them gave them a sweet taste. The joint does a lot of business, so I will try the dry rubbed ribs next time. I will wash all the food but dessert down with some of the best tasting sweet tea they serve. The best part of the meal was dessert. Man-o-man I will have to tell you it will be a hard choice would you visit. I had a piece of pound cake that was moist and tasted ever so good. The cake and several other desserts made in-house were available. The portions and price were reasonable. You should not leave out hungry. They have several choices of eats here, and I am sure you will be able to find something to fit your hunger. Great place to come along or bring the family.
