Galician white beans were amazing!
“Lacon” smoked pork shank, served with spanish sausage, cabbage and potato, was a little bland, I wouldn’t order this again.
Service was a little lacking too.
I’m down here for a few more weeks and I’m going to try a different location and different order and hope this was just a bad day.
The inside of the Restaurant is Super organized kind hard working people With manners and morals attending you. I really appreciate that! I got better service here then most restaurants….. I’ve been to many around town and most restaurants attend you and just want to Rush! You! get out of the way and just want to get their tip and go home. No, not these Ppp well these hard working people actually had a smile on their face and generally wanted to help the customer. I don’t really experience that but this place is fantastic! The Performance of these workers Were Phenomenal!

Service was impeccable from the door step. The kitchen, bar and waiters were very fast.
Love to try different cuisines and Cuban did not disappoint. The seasoning is well balanced but tasty at the same time. The portion are big. Loved my choices.
Last but not least, the drinks were on point.
I’ve always had good experiences at other La Carreta locations in Miami, but this one was very disappointing.
The restaurant showed as open online. I placed an order, was charged, and received a text saying my food was ready. When I arrived, the place looked closed. I called multiple times and they repeatedly hung up on me mid-call. After several attempts, they finally said the food was sent back to the kitchen because they were closed—then hung up again when I asked about a refund.
I went inside and saw staff sitting at the front desk, clocked in, with a very dismissive and unprofessional attitude. They eventually said the refund would be handled through DoorDash, but the entire interaction was handled with complete disrespect.
I understand working holidays isn’t easy (I’ve done it myself in hospitality), but that’s no excuse for rude behavior—especially when the restaurant is listed as open and still accepting orders. Very disappointing experience.
