After many years, finally got to have diner here. It did not disappoint! I don’t eat shellfish but there are many other options to enjoy. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful. Seems like you are on vacation even if you live locally. Complimentary chick pea salad while you read the menu trying to decide from many choices as well as daily specials. A fantastic experience!

We recently dined at Quahog’s and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hostesses were incredibly pleasant and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. However, our server could definitely use a new personality, as her demeanor was less than enthusiastic.

We were seated in a very loud bar area, which made conversation difficult. Despite the noise, the decor was fantastic and added to the ambiance. Next time we visit, we will definitely request the back room, which we found to be much better suited for a more relaxed dining experience.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food, which was really, really good. Each dish was delicious and well-prepared. We look forward to returning and enjoying another meal in a more comfortable setting.

One of the better seafood restaurants in Stone Harbor area. Gets super crowded around dinner time, better to make reservation ahead of time. The restaurant has mostly indoor sitting only, with few tables outside of shed, under open space. The menu items and drinks are written with chalks in boards hanging on walls, but they hand out paper menus too.

This place lots of interesting sea food dishes. They start you off with complementary chickpeas. The appetizer and entrees do take some time to come out, during rush hours. We really like their clamps, mussels, blackened fish (very well seasoned), and the Moqueca stew. Unfortunately, the margaritas were little disappointing. Out of the three margaritas we ordered, only Passion Fruit had some taste of the fruit, for Mango and Blood Orange, we couldn’t find any presence of fruit, just tasted alcohol. The kids pasta with marinara also very blend.

As the restaurant is mostly under a shed, it gets really loud, as people are talking and having a good time. So, we also had to talk really loud among selves.

Food taste – 4/5
Food prep time – 3/5
Price – $$$$

Items Tasted:
Clams, Mussels, Oyster – 4/5

Get there at 4:20 if you want $1 oysters and wings at the bar, which were perfectly prepared. Appetizers were not hot. Shortrib overcooked and lobster oily. It seemed expensive for 4pp with no table cloth, most everything was served in a basket. Good bar service then at table didn’t see the server after entrées.

Nice place to visit with a group. Relaxing and casual. The menu has an item for all ages. Make sure that you make reservations…it can get busy.

The crab cakes were delicious.

We would have preferred a little less spice on the ribs, but they were large and tender.

Plenty of food in your order. You won’t leave hungry.

Make sure that you order a cocktail. The Machomeno and Pinata were tasty.

Awesome restaurant in Stone Harbor! Atmosphere, service and food were excellent! We had the raw oysters and oyster shooter, the Flounder Imperial, Calamari, seafood Mac n cheese, and Baja fish tacos!! Ohh and can’t forget the Champagne Sangria was perfect! Definitely recommend checking out Quahogs! Reservations are recommended

This place used to be good…now it’s not.

I hear they are expanding with other restaurants. This place was basically a restaurant in an alley and they killed it for years. Now, I do not think there are any experienced restaurant workers on site.

Went here mid-week with a 6:15pm reservation. At 6:45 we were still not seated. Another couple who also had a reservation complained to the hostess, who replied…” It doesn’t matter what time you had a reservation for ..what matters is when you check -in with me.” They left, I laughed, and we ended up sitting at the bar. So, in the hostesses mind; a reservation means nothing, everyone is treated as a walk-in.

We ate at the bar. When we got the check, I asked if there was a surcharge for using a credit card. The bartender said yes 3%. I paid cash. Stuffed a pile into the check book, which included a 20% tip and went up to leave.

As I left the bar, the bartender jumps out from behind the bar, gets in my face and says: ” Sir, we need a signed receipt!” I said: ” But, I paid cash.”” The bartender then looks down at the pile of bills in the folder in his hand, turns around and goes back behind the bar.

Why put up with this?

Mr Quahog, please hire an adult or two with restaurant experience at this location to keep an eye on things while you expand.

A must visit if you want fresh and flavorful seafood dishes. We ate dinner for the first time, the overall atmosphere is casual & comfortable, and our server was friendly. The seafood mac and cheese, calamari was a great start. The seafood stew was yummy and a decent amount of seafood options. Crab cake was full of crab meat and right amount of flavors!

Overall, meh.

Tourist quality food without any inspiration.

Shrimp ceviche was a murky broth with not much flavor.

Lobster roll was not edible.

Service was good. Noisy crowded atmosphere.

The only salvageable food were the ribs in the surf and turf.

Brazilian stew was another murky flavorless broth with an ounce or two of seafood and literally two pea size lumps of chorizo.

What an amazing meal! We had the lobster rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious! We have never had lobster rolls so great.

The restaurant does not offer beer, so you will have to bring your own. They do have a list of wines, we had the Quahog’s white wine, a little expensive for the quality you get, so your are better off bringing your own wine.

If you are in the area, this is a place you MUST visit. The plates are not affordable, so be ready to pay a hefty bill.
