Food was good except at back end got a little salty I think they should reframe from you never know who’s sensitive to salt , why is pork in all vegetables we don’t need to flavor with pork others work just as well , never know what type of customer might come this way it’s universal for all , atmosphere? Humm not bad til the lady behind register asked if I need anything which is fine but when customer says just looking around while waiting on order don’t ask if I paid yet it can make uncomfortable like customer wasn’t supposed to look around ..other than that waitress was pleasant and host

I hadn’t been to Cracker Barrel in quiet some time, but I wanted some good pancakes and I wasn’t disappointed. That was the best meal I’d had in a long time from there, Roanoke Rapids NC. Our waitress Wendi was so friendly and attentive. It was a Thursday morning and there was plenty of room. It was a bit busy, but the atmosphere was very pleasant. I truly enjoyed my dining experience. ☺️

I had the pleasure of visiting Cracker Barrel for the first time ever, in North Carolina. Since the seats fill up fast, I went ahead and joined the waiting list online. It said that I had to wait 15 minutes. I headed inside,we were seated quickly and the hostess let us know the server’s name. It’s my 91 year old grandfathers favorite restaurant so it was a pleasure to be able to sit with him in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Servers were friendly. Food was so delicious! We did not get our biscuits that were supposed to come with our dinner though. We will definitely visit this place again. Thank you for making my trip to NC memorable.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being taken to this restaurant by my mom and stepdad. I cannot express how delighted I am that they introduced me to this place. The ambiance was wonderful, and I particularly enjoyed browsing through the various miscellaneous items available for purchase. The food itself was incredibly scrumptious. The Sirloin steak I had was mouthwatering, and the fried apples and Caesar salad were equally delectable. All in all, my experience at this restaurant was exceptional, and I eagerly anticipate my next dining experience there in the near future.

We used the app to order our breakfast the night before our pickup. When I arrived for pickup it took several minutes before I was greeted. When the server came out they told me that the fruit cup we ordered was not available due to a failed delivery of supplies. They replaced the fruit cup with our choice of apples. However, when I return my room with our, a five minute trip, the food was cold! Fortunately we had a microwave to heat up the food. Not impressed. Our first ordering breakfast on the app a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering a breakfast takeout from this location.

Jenny, our server, was EXCELLENT!!!! We did not realize the hash brown casserole had onions so she had the dish remade with plain hash browns!!! Thank you to her and her kitchen staff! The food overall was HOT and excellent!!!! Staff was excellent!!!

Food is Good, it just doesn’t come hot! I have poor circulation I asked to be seated away from any drafts. They sat me right in front of a window and said “Don’t worry we have base heaters, they’ll keep you warm.”
Well, they have them but they weren’t on that afternoon! Legs cold, breeze across the table. Coffee cold.

I gave a 3 star on atmosphere and food. The dining chairs are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The country store did not have the usual large selection of merchandise that I am accustomed to in a Cracker Barrell. Ordered the steak and shrimp combo as they did not have any catfish or bone in fried chicken. The steak was overcooked and extremely tough. Cracker Barrell usually does a lot better than the Roanoke Rapids, NC location. Service was excellent.
