Popped into Season for the first time around 10:30am on a Friday & had no trouble finding parking or grabbing a seat …though it’s easy to see how both could be tough during peak hours. The space is what some might call a “hole in the wall”: small, simple, & unpretentious. But it quickly filled with regulars being greeted warmly by name, which tells you everything you need to know.

You may not come here for the decor, but the friendly service & genuinely delicious food will keep you coming back. The menu feels very chef-driven …a creative spin on classic brunch dishes with a few unexpected touches to keep things interesting. We ordered the Breakfast Tasting (an absolute steal at $19) to sample a bit of everything, while my husband went with the Chorizo Biscuit. Speaking of biscuits… unreal. They almost reminded me of fried bread – in the best way possible. And the crispy waffle? A must-order! We wiped our plates clean & immediately vowed to come back. This place is a total gem.

From the service to the food and latte absolutely amazing. This little hole in the wall breakfast spot completely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the velvet latte, steak and egg, and grits. The steak and egg had a creamy gravy to balance the fried steak and biscuit. It came with a hash brown bite with idk what kinda sour cream ish sauce in the middle. The latte was sweet how I like my coffee with real pieces of cake in it. Everything was just made to perfection. Thank you for this wonderful experience .

If I could give this place more stars, I would! We honestly haven’t had food this good in a while. We decided to try something new for a quick lunch date, and this place did not disappoint.

When we first got there, parking was limited, but we found a spot up front and there were a good bit of people already inside. We had made reservations for 11:15. The place is on the small side. You know, one of those cute holes in the wall, where you can’t believe you didn’t know about it sooner? It was super clean inside, and very inviting.

Vanessa, our server, was amazing — super attentive, so sweet, thorough, and full of great recommendations. Everyone else who came by our table to check on us or drop off food was just as helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

We’d never had French press lattes before, so of course we had to try them. They were really good. I ordered the mocha and my husband got the regular with sugar on the side. The mocha was definitely on the sweeter side, so if you’re not big on sweet drinks, keep that in mind — but I’m sure they could adjust it if you ask.

My husband ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. Now listen… we love spice, and Vanessa did warn us — and lesson learned for next time. You might want that spice on the side. But SO worth it. The flavor was incredible, and the chicken actually had seasoning on it (LOL). He also said the eggs were probably the best he’s ever had — and that’s saying something. Sorry, I didn’t get a picture of those.

I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos Biscuit, and because I thought it would be smaller, I also got a side of cheddar grits. Y’all… first of all, this biscuit is NOT your average biscuit. It’s HUGE. And second, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a more delicious biscuit in my life. Every single flavor worked perfectly together — absolutely delectable.

We will 100% be back.

Season: A Chef’s Kitchen absolutely delivered on brunch. Everything felt thoughtful, well-balanced, and made with real care.

We ordered the Tamale Huevos Rancheros ($19) and it was outstanding. The handmade tamales were tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with the refried lentils and house-made salsa. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked just right, with rich yolks that tied everything together. Add in the crema, fresh avocado, and crispy bacon, and every bite was comforting yet elevated.

The Breakfast Tasting ($19) is a great option if you want a little bit of everything. We chose a pancake, which was golden and fluffy, and it came with two eggs, bacon, sausage, a buttermilk biscuit, creamy grits, colcannon, avocado, composed fruit, and yogurt with almond granola. The variety was impressive, and nothing felt like an afterthought—even the larder condiments were spot on.

Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were on point across the board. This is the kind of brunch that feels indulgent without being heavy, and clearly chef-driven.

Highly recommend for a relaxed but elevated breakfast or brunch. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is sooo GOOD!! Hands down best breakfast spot! Everything was good! Service, food and atmosphere. I would like to give a special shout out to Isra (My apologies if I misspelled his name) but he was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. It was our first time visiting and he took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions. Thank you for great hospitality and service Isra!

FIVE STARS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!

Make your reservation here ASAP! This restaurant is a small space but packs a huge punch with flavor. Due to going viral on social media, this local gem is blowing up with crowds on the weekends.

We got here on a Sunday around 12:30pm. With no reservation. There is limited street parking around so you might have to search a little. It didn’t take us long to find a free parking spot across the street. We were told we had to wait for 1.25 hours but we were put on the waitlist and actually got seated in about 15-20 minutes.

We ordered the chorizo biscuit, Maduro pancakes, scrambled eggs, duck ham and black coffee. All of it was fantastic and DELICIOUS! The portions and prices are quite generous. Every bite is so flavorful that you will try your best to clean your plate. The maduro pancakes were a perfect combo of being crispy on the edges and outside yet super fluffy and moist on the inside. All the plantains and toppings that come with it complement the pancake texture and flavor so well.

You MUST treat yourself and someone you love to breakfast here. It was such a delightful experience for us after church. The staff was so pleasant and hospitable. Everyone working there checked up on our table and asked us about our experience. Phenomenal!

They know what they’re doing and they do it exceptionally WELL.

Update… after leaving my review, Chef Nick asked that I email him with my issue. I emailed, he explained how they operate, invited me back and offered to comp my meal. I respect that.

I returned today and it was noticeably busy but not crowded like my first visit. I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door and seated. The service was good, everyone I came in contact with was nice and friendly.

I had a delicious made to order velvet latte with red velvet sprinkles, buttery brown on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside mouthwatering biscuits and scrumptious sausage gravy with the perfect amount of spice and eggs on the side.

I have no complaints and I’m glad I gave it another try. I definitely recommend this hidden gem.

You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—everything is amazing—but do yourself a favor and get a pancake. They’re hands-down the best I’ve ever had; I’m literally addicted at this point. The staff also go above and beyond with their service, which makes the whole experience even better. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially from Friday through Sunday, if you don’t want to wait too long!

I’d give this neighborhood gem more than 5 ⭐️ if I could. I enjoyed everything I tried, because it all tasted good. . I was all the more impressed to hear that majority of the ingredients are sourced locally which is hard to find these days. I gave the French toast entree a try and I really enjoyed the duck ham that came with it. It hits the spot. I also have a weakness for country fried steak, so I couldn’t resist the steak and egg biscuit. That made from scratch biscuit is perfect for this dish and I hope you’ll top it off with their fresh made blueberry jam. There’s real whole pieces of blueberries in it. What a chill vibe this spot has, perfect for brunch.

I also eyeballed someone else’s great looking burger, I mean it was astonishing so now I have to come back for lunch

Wow! First time here. The best biscuit we have had! Sausage gravy was excellent. The panko fried chicken is moist and tasty. The fritters are a must have. And the cheese grits are delicious and so creamy. Service was excellent and friendly. Small cozy dining. Make a reservation. Looking forward to coming back.
