I distinctly told the woman that I wanted some hashbrowns slightly crispy, but not too well done and instead, I’m not sure if she paid me any attention or what but my hashbrowns were burnt so crispy. They were hard as rocks but anyway we won’t be eating at Cracker Barrel ever again, but I love the store and that the history behind all of the items that are in it. It’s absolutely beautiful and as far as a service, it was wonderful. The atmosphere is beautiful. Don’t ever change a thing inside Cracker Barrel, except for the way that your people cook the food that needs to change.

The server was great. I dont think most of the issues had anything to do with her. With that – the cups smelled like fish. It took so long for the food to come out. All other tables had biscuits but we were told they normally dont do that but theyll make an exception. When the food was missing, so many items were missing. Not like a side, like different meats off of plates, gravy, etc. Like main foods of the main course. It was odd. We kept being told it would be 10 minutes for the missing food to come out. Some people were done eating by the time others could start. Then hair was in the food.. and just so many other issues. This used to be our go-to breakfast place but the last few times havent been an enjoyable experience :-/ I recommend going somewhere else.

So I met up with my sister and the fam she from Ohio and I from Georgia, and this was the middle man lol but we were hungry, so this was perfect. It did not disappoint, and everything was delicious. We had a great time, and the service was perfect!!! Even though it was packed, service was on point, and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food and beverages. This could be our meet point from now on.

The food was not awful, but the last couple of times we have been there the food is just not as good as it use to be. The meal options are not good like in the past. The food has definitely gone down hill. The peach tea is usually wonderful, but this time tasted awful. Our order was a to go order, picked it up on time but was very cold when I got it home. Will definitely not order online again. Service is always wonderful, restaurant, store is very clean. Just need to get a new menu and make sure food taste better. I don’t think it’s the cooks, just the food itself. The biscuits were very good though.

Ordered onion pedals appitizer before meal but it was brought 1 min before meal. It was cold! So likely sat for awhile. Ordered cheeseburger medium well done for meal. It Arrived rare with blood dripping. Sent back and waited 20 minutes while hubby ate his meal. He had ordered fish which he said was just ok. Replacement cheeseburger was great but I ended up eating alone. Will never go back there.

Just ate Thanksgiving meal at Athens TN Cracker Barrel. When arriving we saw about 25-30 people waiting outside. Decided to go in and see how long the wait would be. We had no reservation and did not sign up online (heard people talking about this while waiting but we didn’t know it was an option) was told it would be an hour wait. Approximately 45 minutes later our name was called. We were seated immediately when going to the hostess stand. We were given a selected menu for the holiday. Our server April arrived a few minutes later. The turkey meal included turkey, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, green beans and cranberry relish, biscuits and corn bread, a drink and pumpkin pie. Our party of 3 did not want the sweet potato casserole so we asked to substitute mashed potatoes and gravy. We were told we could not substitute. No problem. We all ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. A very short time later our food arrived. Two of us tasted the sweet potato casserole even though we generally don’t like it. We were pleasantly surprised. All of it was absolutely delicious with generous servings. The turkey meal was $16.99 and the extra side was $2.99 each. April was very busy but still was able to check on us several times and brought us more drinks when needed. I just want to say…We are thankful for having a place to go eat and friendly staff to serve us. Thank you Cracker Barrel for making our Thanksgiving so good. FYI…we would have gone to Cracker Barrel no matter what the sign looks like.

Ordered the thanksgiving feast for 8 to 10 people…
Sadly the portions are smaller this year and no macaroni was included, like it was last year. The price hasn’t gone down so neither should the amount of food. But, the food and service is great as always. I highly recommend them for all holiday gatherings if you don’t have time to cook.

Was sat at dirty table when clean ones were 7available, I use a walker and closer tables were available.ordered food took forever to get it. Got food didn’t order returned it. Took long time to just get a bowl of rice and had to remind our server about it. Biscuits were cold. Ordered the 8.99 meal but was charged for higher priced meal. Me and my boyfriend. I will not be back to this cracker barrel again. Cashier was told about the meals being higher and her only reaction was “oh well”. Wasn’t trying to cheat them. So when you order point to it on menu so you know they understand what you want. Even the lady seating us was rude to us and another couple. Have always had good experience at this place but not this time and it has caused me to not want to return.

This was a fantastic breakfast on new years day. Everything tasted home made, even if it wasn’t. The PANCAKES. The whole dining area smelled like coffee and hickory smoke from the cozy fireplace. It was busy, but we were sat quickly and everything was paced very nicely. They have a great team, I wish I could remember our server’s name, she was awesome.
