We recently visited from Florida to the Helen GA area. Stopped into Alpine Pizza for a quick lunch. Atmosphere was so cute, lots of seating inside and outside. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Pizza was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely going back next visit to Helen.
Only con I have is the wait time was slightly longer than originally told but wasn’t a big deal.

We ordered the pepperoni,supreme and white . The pepperoni had the least amount of pepperoni I’ve ever seen on a large pizza in my entire 54 years on this earth. The pizzas tasted pretty good overall. They were short staffed which led to a long ticket time. Pretty cool outside bar.

The staff were friendly and the service was solid throughout my visit. As for the food, my experience was mixed. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the sweet and tangy barbecue pizza.
The egg rolls were underwhelming. They lacked a distinct cheesesteak flavor, and it was difficult to tell what I was eating. However, the accompanying sauce was excellent and ended up being the highlight of the dish.
The pizza had a great crust, but the toppings were sparse and dominated by bacon, which overpowered the overall flavor. The bacon also tasted more like a pre-packaged product rather than freshly cooked. Additionally, there was little, if any, noticeable barbecue on it. I was expecting a more balanced mix of toppings and perhaps a protein other than bacon. Overall, the pizza felt unbalanced and could benefit from more tanginess or heat to round out the flavors.
The prices also are elevated due to the touristy area. Somewhat expected but also a bit high

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! pizza is extremely thin like to the point where you can see through it. the garlic knots are just bunches of dough squished together with no butter or garlic. management needs to manage their employees better. nobody at the host stand so people are just standing around waiting to be greeted. we did togo and the lady just took our order with no name or other indicators of who we were she just said “i’ll find you when it’s done” the poor bar tender is running around the whole patio serving people and bringing out togo orders. they also had a full bar but no beer?? if you are looking for an easy way to make money open a store here because the lines for other places are so long tourists think they’ve finally found a good spot so they get trapped into eating. your buisness will stay open for unsuspecting tourists to get their mouth torn up by pizza and state bread globs

Ordered a large pizza to go. It was fine. We ate there the other day and got a pizza to eat outdoors. That pizza was much better than today’s. It is dog friendly and they do have big heaters on the outdoor area so you should be comfortable eating on a chillier night. I wish the quality of pizza was more consistent.

While passing by from a drive in the mountains stopped at this place for lunch. Very dissatisfied. Ordered the crispy calamari, Caesar salad, and buffalo pizza.
Calamari was over cooked, rubbery. Caesar salad looked like out of a bag into the bowl, not washed or tossed and served with what looked like grocery cheap vinaigrette. Pizza crust was hard topped with less than low quality cheese and frozen precooked chicken.
Reason we stopped at this place was to have what we thought will be freshly made pizza, instead we got served what appeared to be food out of a box reheated and sitting too long under a heat lamp.
Unwashed lettuce is a BIG NO.
Overall very disappointed. Over priced food for what you serve.

An awful experience. The line was 3 families long, but we waited for an hour and a half to be seated. THEN we were ignored by the staff and didn’t receive a waiter to take our order. Supposedly their machine was down, but even then the wait was overly long.

Our party of 7 were there on Easter Sunday, 15mins before closing ! They welcomed us and quickly got our food and drinks orders in. Amazing staff. We got the Cheese pizza, veggie lover pizza and garlic knots. Pizza is good size slice for a large group of people. Garlic knots are fresh and so good. Atmosphere is amazing indoor and outdoor seating is perfect.
