Snagged a blueberry bagel with cream cheese to go and it was absolutely perfect. Fresh, delicious, and exactly what you want when you need a quick breakfast. My order was ready fast, which made it super easy to grab and hit the trail. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming too. This is a great local spot to grab breakfast if you’re in Boone.

Don’t ever go here or call and expect to get your order in a timely manor they will fill walkins before people that call in orders. I waited 40 mins ans had to get a refund. Ive spent so much money with this place to be treated like that is wild. Do better. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THE WORST BREAKFAST SPOT IN BOONE NC.

Found out this morning that walks are prioritized before people that call in. Make that make sense? Why call an order in if the people that come in after you, are prioritized first? My husband and I normally come once a week and we have always called it in and are able to pick it up as we got there. Not sure why or how that was different today but waiting over 40 minutes for a white toast sandwich with bacon only and a BEC bagel is insane. Especially when you called it in. & to be told that walks in get priority, I can understand if it’s something easier to be made but when 4 other people walk in after you and order and get their orders before you do while you called yours in 40 min prior, is awful. My husband ended up asking for a refund Do better. We will not be back.

Shout out Lola at the cashier spot, great customer service skills and served me my breakfast in a timely manner. I always get nervous trying to get something before work in fear of being late but they were on the ball!! The bagel tasted so delicious and eggs tasted fresh!!! They gave me a filled cup of coffee to go as well and it was so appreciated because usually it’s more ice than coffee at other places in Boone. 10/10 absolutely will be back with my family!

I was so excited to see Boone Bagelry still open after my 30 year hiatus. I recall the bagels being fresh and the eggs and fixings all homemade.
We waited for about 20 minutes to get a table and the service was fantastic.
However, the bagels were dry and plain. The egg and bacon tasted over done and the cheese tasted like a plastic wrapped piece of cheese.
Loved that the environment hadn’t changed a bit.

Yes it’s a small location and yes their parking lot can sometimes be a bit cumbersome, leading to further the parking issues to be had on King Street. However, this place is a Boone institution. It was a frequent staple of my college days and times I’ve visited since graduation and since the original owners sold it have been nostalgic and wonderful.
Dishes I’d recommend: Bagel French Toast (I usually do the blueberry bagel for that), home fries, any of the bagels with cream cheese (though the chocolate chip and jalapeno spreads are my favorite, depending on my mood!) and even though I don’t like eggs my husband really enjoys the Bagelicious sandwich (as did a lot of my classmates when I was in school)

They offer their bagel sandwiches to be “stuffed” or “overloaded” or something. Worth the extra 3 bucks because they load your sandwich up with the meats. I got a BEC (Bacon Egg and Cheese for you casuals out there) on an everything bagel toasted. For Boone Carolina a darn good bagel. Service was slow but to be fair we were there on MLK weekend and it seemed to be a general theme that service everywhere was slow. They had the ketchup, salt, pepper at the table so I could season and sauce myself which was nice. 4.66/5 Google Rating 7/10 Mr. Void Rating.

When my group of 4 went they weren’t too busy but when we got seated and our waiter took our order we had to wait around 30 minutes just to get our coffee and people that got there after us were getting food before my table, food is good but in my opinion portion sizes are a little small for the price. Great food though.

I didn’t get to try the food because, after ordering at the counter, I waited over 30 min before having to leave without my food because I had somewhere to be. No refund. I can only recommend going if you have an hour you can allot to a bagel breakfast.
Thanks for your reply. There were only 5 people ahead of me in line, which at other bagel shops I frequent is usually manageable. If there had been a line into the parking lot I certainly would have gone somewhere else!
I did tell the cashier that we were leaving and they just said ok. I was afraid to throw any more kinks into the operation as it was clear y’all were struggling.
