Based on the location and gorgeous website, I stopped at Las Brisas for lunch as I was driving down the coast. I sat on the patio overlooking the ocean and started with the guacamole and chips – very fresh and flavorful, followed by the ribeye steak and lobster enchiladas – also fresh and flavorful, paired with a crisp glass of chilled Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was beautifully prepared and filling.

In addition to the great meal, what really stood out was the service — attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It elevated the whole experience.

I enjoyed it so much that when I returned to town, I brought my dad and my pup to the dog-friendly patio for dinner for another wonderful experience. The setting, the food, and the atmosphere make this a place I’ll happily return to again.

Had a great dinner at Las Brisas with Gigi as our server. Los Cabos Lemon Pasta, the mussels, oysters, Taste of Las Brisas were all delicious. If you go here, do not skip dessert! The milk and cookies were 12/10, incredible!

What a great place to celebrate a birthday! The ambiance is so lovely! We sat inside with beautiful views of the ocean. Outside seating is also available, with heat lamps. I would say service was excellent. Food presentation was beautiful. But the only complaint I had was that my roast chicken, one piece came to me lukewarm and the other piece was not even warm. That was quite a disappointment. Everything else was really great. They even served a cheesecake slice to celebrate the birthday. For 3 people we spent about $250, with tip, $300 (2 appetizers, 1 alcoholic drink, 3 main entrees). Also, there is valet service if you can’t find street parking.

The food was really good, albeit a tad overpriced. I got the sirloin – it was very, very tender, no fat and juicy. Delicious. The chips and guacamole are also amazing. Service took a little longer. Maybe it’s because we had a large party. But by the time everyone was done with their dessert and mine arrived.

The waiter had enough insight to put the sauce that was usually on the sirloin, in a separate side bowl. Which I really really appreciated. The sauce had a bit of a kick to it, and I wouldn’t have enjoyed the sirloin as much it if it was covered in the sauce.
Beautiful location!!

My husband brought me to this restaurant to celebrate my 35th birthday two days ago. Overall, the food was excellent, and our waiter was very kind and accommodating.

After finishing our meal, we asked our waiter for the bill, which he promptly brought to the table. We placed the bill and cash on the table, ready to pay. However, the waiter became engaged with another table. After waiting approximately 5–7 minutes, I stepped away to use the restroom, assuming he would return shortly.

When I returned, I observed three hostesses (one of whom appeared to be a manager) standing a short distance from our table, watching my husband and whispering among themselves. At first, I dismissed it, but it quickly became apparent that both of us were being closely monitored. The waiter was still occupied with another table, while the hostesses continued to stare at us, which gave the clear impression that we were suspected of attempting to leave without paying.

To avoid further discomfort, I interrupted the waiter and handed him the cash we had already placed on the table. As we exited, the hostesses walked toward the door behind us and wished us a good day.

Experiencing racial profiling is always disheartening, but it was especially disappointing on my birthday. I want to be clear that I am not seeking a discount or complimentary meal. My purpose in writing is to bring attention to this experience in hopes that management may review and improve existing protocols.

If there is ever concern about a guest’s intent to pay, a simple and respectful check-in such as asking whether the table is ready to settle the bill would be far more appropriate than prolonged staring or whispering. Additionally, guests who intend to leave without paying typically do not leave cash visibly on the table. While I understand that dine-and-dash incidents do occur, they should not be assumed based on race.

Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.

A visit to Laguna Beach, CA. is not complete until you’ve dined at Las Brisas. The view of the cliffs & beach from the outside patio is spectacular. And their food is good. Our waiter on this visit was Ruben. He was kind, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Las Brisas!

Outstanding dining experience overall. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time and requesting outdoor, ocean-view dining. All of the food that I tried was fantastic: chips & guac, charcuterie, shrimp cocktail. The service was great, and the view was phenomenal. Valet parking is $10, and metered parking across the street is pretty cheap. You can exit the back of the restaurant and take a walk along the beach or to nearby gift shops.

What a beautiful place. I loved the food. Simply amazing. We went during the evening and did not get tk see the view but I can only imagine a restaurant overlooking the ocean must be quite the view during daytime. We went for a work event but enjoyed every minute of it. 10/10 recommend for a romantic evening or work event.
