Limited choices but things were served quickly. Everything we tried was good. Chicken strips, cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich (not super spicy), Sante Fe wrap were all good. Fries could have been crisper.
Only real complaint is their use of what seems like a ton of plastic that isn’t necessary. If you’re going to hand each wrapped sandwich or order of fries in a paper boat as it’s ordered, there is no need for the huge plastic takeout container with each meal.

Not sure what the recent reviewers have been smoking but I found the food excellent, well priced and the service great. It gets busy but you still don’t have to wait long. The philly with fries was my go to during the visit.

My family loves going to the Air Force Museum but this part just reeks of a bad contract. You can’t take outside food/drinks into the museum. While I am wholeheartedly in support of contributing to this free museum in any way I can, the cafe was way overpriced for terrible food options. The quote “Torpedo Dog” quote was just an oversized, plain hot dog that was $6.50. Prepackaged muffins (like at a gas station, not baked onsite which i can see paying more for) were $4.50 and $4.25. Chips are $2.00. They did have some cold turkey wraps and sandwiches in the refrigerator that I did not see until I had ordered the hot dogs. Regardless, the cafe missed the mark in my opinion. I recommend skipping this Cafe and try the Refueling Cafe that is near the space area. Or eating before you get to the museum.

This is open with cash and carry premade items. Nothing healthy here today.
What is frustrating is no one told us it was under renovation when we asked where we could get some healthy cafe foods.
As you know it’s a long trek back to the snack shop and then back to the Valkyrie cafe and now off to the car to find a local place with salads that aren’t prepackaged and prepackaged sandwiches that cost more than a nor sit down meal.

Gran and Go items, chips, drinks and you can also order burgers, pizza and other hot items.
Ignore the ‘no condiments’ nonsense in a review below-There were plenty
I was there on a slow day and enjoyed my Smoked Turkey wrap. Will be back.

Tables are all dirty… Chicken tenders are not chicken tenders. It’s chicken breast… Just google it if you don’t know what a tender is! French fries were ice cold had to warm them up in the microwave. Luckily they had one for the public… Very limited selection of food. Most of the ice cream items were not in stock… Poor management!

Unbelievable that a museum of this wonderful caliber has THIS café as its ONLY source of food! No outside food allowed and then you eat here. 1. No vegetarian items on the menu (veggie burger off the menu .. you have to ask), 2. no fresh food at all, 3. all snack items and 4. very indifferent service. Also, 5. all the menu items are priced wrong so you get an extra surprise when you go to pay. So many ways to improve. But why not do an Air Force cafeteria menu to simulate military life?

It’s not the fun and friendly place that you would hope it to be. They aren’t excited to see you. There’s not a lot of interesting things to look at. The country music plays over the museum announcements, or visa-versa, depending on what you want to hear. You can’t get condiments. When I was there, areas were blocked off. When I asked the cashier if I could sit down, she explained that I could sit in the “lower level.” In order to get there, I had to either duck under one of the barriers or walk back through the line where I was rung out, like a little labyrinth challenge. I didn’t love paying $5.45 for a bottle of iced tea. The sandwich, without condiments, wasn’t bad and the french-fries, without condiments, were fine.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Waited in line for about 30 minuted only to get to the counter and the lady says it’s a 30 min wait fof pizza. No buns for the hotdogs. No sandwiches. So my family had chips for lunch there. Don’t waste your time there.. Bring a sack lunch and go out to your car to eat!

It was embarrassingly bad. One poor guy to serve dozens of people in line and check people out. Long wait for pizza, looked awful anyway. Coffee and tea was the only warm drink, the place was 55 to 60 degrees inside so need something hot. People wait for 30 minutes for not even mediocre food. Out of buns out of cups, cold macaroni.
Really does not do justice for the museum facility. I’m not sure if cafe workers are paid or volunteered but the poor guy was doing the best he could with what they gave him.
