My husband and I were looking for something different than the usual fast food spot for breakfast. So mad that we came across this place!!!!! The cashier was ok. She tried to be polite, but I should’ve walked out when they had multiple menu selections with CHICKEN on the menu… but when I attempted to order CHICKEN & waffles…THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY CHICKEN!!!!!!!!! Then… I should’ve walked out again when I made an attempt to substitute waffles for French toast and the cashier repeated over & over & over “NO SUBSTITUTES!!!!!!!!! Almost bit my head off!!! Food was absolutely horrible!!! Eggs runny, French toast tasted like the bags you buy from Giant to carry your groceries in, grits tasted like water..oh… and we asked for grits with cheese… NO CHEESE in sight! The turkey bacon was hard, and the home fries were not thoroughly cooked and tasted like … who knows (but definitely not home fries). We paid over $30 for two meals and they only give you one measly Turkey sausage patty. It amazes me how these places get all these accolades for stealing their own people’s hard earned money!! Worst breakfast I’ve ever had!!! No wonder this place is in the back of a industrial area… maybe they like it.. but if I were you.. I would not eat here for breakfast. Horrible!!

So I googled “good breakfast near me” and this place popped up, I decided to give it a try. The cashier was very friendly and professional. The food was pretty good; however, I wish I had a little more for the money. I’m not a home fries type of person but these were well seasoned; the pancakes were also pretty flavorful as well. The eggs were good but it was a bit skimpy (IMO). Overall I spent $18 which is a little on the high side compared to other spots I’ve been too but the quality, customer service and the ability to support a minority business was worth it. Check it out!

I was in the area desperately looking for a quick breakfast spot. I came across this business and my mom also told me about them. She warned me that it was a “greasy spoon”, her and my sister have patronized several times. It has been proven time and time again that my mom and I do not share the same taste buds. The food was not good to me. The eggs were watery. My 1 and 2 year old lovessss eggs and pancakes but they didn’t eat their food. I did not like the pancakes nor the potatoes. The potatoes had a meaty taste. My assumption is that everything is cooked on the same grill. Not uncommon but it seemed as if they cooked it right on top of whatever meat. The egg and cheese sandwich ($5.99) was thin and a little wet. My review is over due so I can’t remember all of the details from the meal but let’s just say I wasted my money. My mom ate most of her food though lol I ordered the French toast platter for her.

It is a small place, not much space to sit down and eat. This was my 1st, but not last time going there. The nice Woman who took my order asked if I drank Coffee, and I said “No” so she offered me a nice cup of Hot Tea because it was cold outside and I was cold. I thought that was so thoughtful and it warmed me up!
I had breakfast with Cornbeef Hash, toast/butter, home fries and scrambled eggs with cheese and they cooked the eggs to perfection! They were light and fluffy and seasoned well. I went after Church and it’s worth a stop.

My husband and I needed to make a quick decision about where to eat and we REALLY like breakfast food. We were very “lucky” to have found Lucky’s Grille and we were able to order food just before they closed! The only downside is that we almost could not pay for our food (that was already made) because of the cashier’s concern on customers not wearing masks. I do understand the concern due to the impact of the pandemic but I do not think turning away a customer when their food is already made and standing at the door, may not be the best solution. The chef was kind enough to let us pay for our food and it was delicious! We will remember to bring our masks next time but I also recommend the staff implement some sort of curbside service for customers. Thank you again for the hospitality!

I found this place on Google & saw all of the positive reviews so I thought I’d try it out. Apparently only the breakfast is decent because I ordered 3 wings & fries and paid $12.09 (after tax) for my meal. What I received were 3 semi burnt flavorless wings with feathers on them & some burnt french fries that tasted like they were just re-dropped into the grease (also flavorless might I add). I was so disappointed in the food especially since I waited so long to receive it while on my lunch break. I wanna say I’ll be back to try the breakfast because of how hyped up the reviews were, but I doubt I’d spend my money there again. I don’t wanna risk paying for bland food a second time. The woman at the counter who took my order was very pleasant though.

Customer Service is in need of assistance 3 out of 10. No hello when enter just a Stare. I ordered two of the platters with homefries one with pork bacon and one with turkey bacon. The food lacks flavor and the potatoes are dry. This was my first time trying this place based on previous reviews but there wouldn’t be a second attempt.

French toast was really good. Customer service great! Enjoyed my home fries too. Food came out hot! My son enjoyed his wings. Could use a little more salt and pepper on them and fries definitely need salt or switch to crinkle fries, but I get that maybe they want to keep the salt level low but didn’t taste any so, he wasn’t a fan, but we definitely will be back to try more though. Nice hidden gem
