I love the diner atmosphere. The food is always perfectly prepared and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Kokos Bowls is one of the best places in town for a great meal. They’ve brought back some of their classic dishes too!

For my birthday, my son and I got take out.My son went in to pickup the order and Koko was very friendly and gave us some extra things to sample. The shrimp tempura was incredible! My lunch special teriyaki chicken was perfect: moist and delicious.
Also I loved the tangy Kimchi and the orange slices. We will be back for more.

Today I ordered take-out over the phone (and picked up in person) for the first time. Koko helped me immensely with the phone order; She was extremely patient and courteous while explaining all of the meal options. I ordered a Lunch Special Bibimbap that consisted of White rice, Regular Pork, Kimchi, Cucumber, Seaweed flakes, and Garlic Miso sauce. Absolutely Delicious!!! The cashier (name was Minh but unsure of spelling) was super personable. Koko’s Bowls Restaurant offers top notch Customer Service, High Quality Cuisine, and Premium Overall Experience! I definitely recommend

I feel ripped off. Very very very expensive. Just turn around and bypass this place and go to casa grande. This one dish was 30 dollers. You can go to an all you can eat Korean bbq for the same price. I told the owner that her price’s we’re outrageous and she said she didn’t care. The orange garnish on the plate looked very very very old. The food was cold and tasted weird. look at the zucchini it’s almost rotten. The soup tasted horrible and after sitting for 2 minutes the soup started to break up. Showing to me that the soup was old. The meat portion was very small and I couldn’t tell the difference between the spicy pork and the teriyaki chicken which scares me. Seemed to me she cooked both meats together. There was no one in the restaurant for Friday at lunch time. worst restaurant in Reno avoid if possible.

Best shrimp tempura I’ve had anywhere. Tasty made to order poke bowls with lots of options. Also have bibimbap but haven’t tried yet. Good priced lunch specials. All bowls come with soup.
Favorite place to get a quick bite to eat.

1st time in and will be back. Lunch special build your own bibimbap bowl is priced about an average lunch in the area. There were plenty of options, whether spicy or vegetarian!

Go with the regular bibimbap beef bowl. It’s only $3 more than the lunch special, but you get ALL the toppings you want. For under $20, you can eat til you pop, and it is DELICIOUS. You walk away feeling that you really nourished your body with all those fruits and vegetables. Definitely get the spicy mayo!

Such a wonderful experience! I saw them and experienced their services at the Italian Festival in downtown Reno! Their beverages are plentiful in variety and tasty too!
