Food was seasoned well however; My husband ordered 2 small perch dinners and I was very disappointed when he bought it home and only two pieces of fish was in the container for each order at $11.00 each that’s $5.50 each for two pieces of fish and some fries. I could have bought it form the store and cooked it myself and ended up with more than two pieces of fish per order.

The hospitality is top-notch.
We have been ordering big orders since our church moved to Burnham in 2021. We Always receive our food in a reasonable time.

It was my first time eating here. I’m used to eating seafood boils, so when it came out in a pan, I was skeptical. Food tasted good. It wasn’t spicy at all, tho. I only received one piece of corn with 2 crab clusters, which kinda sucked. Overall, I would go back. It’s a lot closer than my regular place at about the same price.

I never had catfish fillets from here until today. Normally I do the salmon and it’s always good. However, we ordered the catfish today. Go figure get home and boom it’s not catfish it’s Swai. What makes it so worst besides the fact we paid 50$ for a 15 piece with fries. I called to tell them I know it’s not catfish and the man gone tell me he being doing this for years and it’s catfish. Ummm sir you’re talking to someone who use to spend the summer in the south as a child and granddad is from NO born and raised. I know real catfish and this ain’t it!

Ordered 30 wings. On the overhead display it says 24.99 with my total coming to 37.39. I asked why it was a difference in the price. Then I was directed to a sign in the window to which I will share. A 12 dollar difference with the only explanation being the hand written sign on the window.

OMG I haven’t been in this place in about a yr an OMG it looks very nice in the inside I thought it was JJ fish but it’s JJ seafood an OMG I had call to place a order but when I arrived there an get to the counter I said I’m here to pick up a order for Bennett he said we didn’t get a order in for Bennett I said OMG did I call the wrong place he said yes because this is not jj’s fish this is jj’s seafood so I asked him did they sell catfish tails he said yes we do so while I was placing the order I was on the phone with my auntie that was up here from Milwaukee, WI celebrating her 76 birthday an I was telling her if they needed food stamps to buy any more food etc for the party that I had some an the man heard me when I said food stamps an when I got off the phone he said I heard food stamps an I’m here to tell u in case u didn’t kno we accept food stamps for all our cooked food I said OMG for real he said yes all I had to do is pay $1 to the cook for each meal I said awesome an I get to the house an the food was still an my pops an auntie enjoyed them fish tails an I enjoyed my catfish steaks as well everything was delicious I would go nowhere else to get fish etc. they are located on the corner of 147th on Burnham in Calumet City Illinois pls ppl go check them out u will love them as well head on over I promise u want regret it awesome job to the cook an the cashier u guys are also
