We got the chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, eggs, and the huge cinnamon roll.
The cinnamon roll dough was delightfully fluffy. I, personally, prefer a sugar glaze (like a donut) over a cream cheese glaze (which is what they have here), but if you like a cream cheese glaze you will love this cinnamon roll.
The chicken fried steak was very solid. Hashbrowns were solid (what you’d expect at a diner). I liked the biscuit; my wife did not, though she is extremely picky with that menu item.
Our server was great. Service was fast. I liked the ambiance a LOT. I will be back to try the deep-fried breakfast burrito – what a unique menu item!
Overall, probably a 4.5 (5 being to die for, 4 being good, 3 being average).
Edit; second visit got the Federal Grande fried breakfast burrito (like a chimichanga!) and the chicken Alfredo, both pictured. Great stuff! McCoys will continue in our rotation!

Definitely was disappointed in the food. I ordered the chorizo skillet was not good at all!! The cheese wasn’t melted the meat was dry and cold. Potatoes were dry also the only thing good was the eggs and the orange juice! Maybe next time I need to just try a regular breakfast because what I had was terrible

McCoy’s Restaurant has a cozy old-school diner feel that’s really welcoming. The server was friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The portions are huge. We had an egg white omelette that was just right, a big, soft cinnamon roll, and some fluffy pancakes. Great place for a breakfast and a relaxed atmosphere.

Food was eh, My tacos were extremely greasy!! They were dripping like a Kitchen faucet, the consume was more like a bowl of grease with beef flavoring. The onions served were bad and tasted awful. Not really thrilled, the Waiter was ok and the atmosphere was calm and Decent. I give this place a 3 out of 5.

I’ve gone to school near McCoy’s for the last four years and always noticed the parking lot packed with cars, but to be honest, the outdated exterior kept me from trying it out. It just never really caught my attention. One morning, though, I was super hungry and looking for a good breakfast spot, so I finally decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did!
The food was absolutely delicious. The biscuit was warm, moist, and just the way a good biscuit should be. The hash browns were cooked perfectly , crispy on the outside and soft inside. I also tried the French toast, which I think could use a little work, but to be fair, I eat and critique A LOT of French toast, and even then, it was still pretty good. The highlight for me, though, was the green chile smothered breakfast burrito, it was amazing, packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice.
Inside, McCoy’s gives off a classic old-school diner vibe, which really adds to that hometown feeling. It’s cozy, a little nostalgic, and exactly the kind of place you want to relax and enjoy a good meal.
The service was magnificent too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
Overall, McCoy totally exceeded my expectations. Don’t let the outside fool you, the food and atmosphere inside are absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was seriously craving a cinnamon roll and saw McCoy’s Restaurant recommended online, so I decided to try it. I took it to go and was told to warm it up at home until the frosting started to melt, which was the perfect advice. The cinnamon roll was fluffy, warm, and absolutely excellent. It was huge too, easily the size of a dinner plate. Soft, perfectly sweet, and so satisfying. If you love cinnamon rolls, this is a must try. I’ll definitely be back.

My friend and I dropped into McCoys’s on a whim as we saw they served all day breakfast. I ended up eating there 5 times during our trip.
You got to love eggs, hash browns, and a choice of meat plate along with toast for $15.99.
The reuben was nicely done as the cooks didn’t overdo it on the 1000 island dressing, so you could taste the corned beef, saurekraut, and marbled rye.
The chicken sandwich was juicy, and I appreciated the cooks own take on it.
But the best part of this place was the staff. The entire wait staff was fantastic, but a specific shout-out to Shauna. Thanks for being so kind and helpful with recommendations.

Best decision ever to come here on Thanksgiving! We received such good service as soon as we walked through the door from our server Tammi and the busser Tonya!! The special was absolutely delicious and had amazing portions! Same with the pie! Props to the chef. Can’t recommend enough!!
