I have had various experiences with this location in the past several years. I typically order online for convenience then pick up in person. Earlier this year I had an awful experience with the wait time (over an hour and 15 minutes for my order to be ready) so I decided not to use this location for a while. Tonight, out of convenience I decided to give it a try again. I placed my order online for 2 pizzas and one double order of breadsticks at 5:12pm. From past experience, I waited 30 minutes to arrive for pickup, even though after 19 minutes it told me my order was ready. The online system appears to be very out of sync for what actually happens in the store. I arrived at the store after 5:40pm, and my name was on the board, saying my order was ready. There were probably 20-25 other names stating their order was ready and about 7-8 people also inside waiting for their food. I also noticed the walls were dirty, there were two water fountains that appear to not have been cleaned in a while, there were several flies flying around in the lobby. I took photos of the dirty counter and water fountains and debated my order. The staff was nice to me, but appeared sloppy, no gloves, and only one had a hair net on. Then I hear the older female named Medley telling a worker “we can’t sell this shit, it’s burnt, we can’t sell it”. I proceed to ask how much longer on my order. She tells me she thinks they are working on it. Another 15 mins goes by and I speak with some other disgruntled customers who also ordered around the same time I did. I once again ask a young man named Johnathon (who’s name tag said general manager) about the estimated time my order would be ready. He printed off a receipt and went to the back, checking with those making pizza. He comes back to me around 6:50pm, saying that the small pizza was made but they couldn’t make the stuffed crust pizza because they were out of Italian sausage. He also told me someone tried to call me to let me know (I have no missed calls nor did I see any staff answer the ringing phone OR call out on the phone to me to tell me they couldn’t make with Italian sausage). I showed him my phone and he asked if I wanted them to do something different and I just told him to cancel my order, it had been from 5:12 to 6:50pm for them to just tell me that. I walked out, ordered from the Salisbury location and thankfully had a completely different and better experience (staff was super friendly, order ready in 15 mins and correct, and place was super clean). Sadly, this store in Tyro needs staff and lots of help. I hope this location improves, but I will tell you I will not be returning. Pizza Hut, do better.

No one ever answers the phone, even when it is not a busy time. You are not able to customize most items online. When you try to call and ask for something, you get sent to a call center. I have yet to have an order come out properly when I get to the store. I asked one of the employees if there was a way to change something online, and was told NO with an eye roll. I was then told that modifying anything overloads the employees and that they don’t have time “to look through all of that stuff.” Even when the call center sends a message to the store, they do not read it. We have been trying to use Pizza Hut more because we have had so many of the same issues with Domino’s. They’re too far out to deliver, so we always drive out there to pick it up. Then, we have to wait for the order to be corrected, while the rest of the food gets cold. Also, management does not care about any of the reviews we put on here. They never read or respond to them.

Since when does a pizza restaurant not allow you to order what you want in the store as a carryout. I was told I had to order online my specific pizza while in the restaurant because what i wanted wasn’t a special offered. Im clueless to when restaurants stopped taking orders for a carryout. Im not understanding this concept.

So I had a delivery driver named Randy come by my house and rip my security cameras down for no apparent reason. My security footage shows him walking up to them and physically breaking them off my fence. I don’t understand why and at this point I don’t care to. I had to involve law enforcement since he damaged both of them. This is ridiculous. I called pizza hut and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I will never order from them again. This is just absurd.

The Hut was not out Pizza’d tonight!!! If you’ve not Dined IN at the Kannapolis Pizza Hit you’re missing out. Loved being able to see all the ingredients & pizza being put together. We ordered a large Pepperoni Pan Pizza & chicken Caesar Salad. Cooks brought out dough not frozen & slightly risen put together quickly & into oven all in plain sight. Shortly after seating huge beautiful Caesar salad came in large white bowl. Then the main course pizza perfectly cooked steaming hot with pillows of dough with crisp edges and thin crisp pepperoni near pizza perfection. After coupe shakes of table pepper flake, grated Parmesan cheese, & warm marinara sauce it’s a meal very hard to beat. This location also featured awesome TVs with all the good channels on & classic simple Hut decor here and there. This particular evening we received fresh hot brownie a great ending!

I recently visited Pizza Hut, and I have to say, the experience was absolutely wonderful, mainly thanks to Guillermo, who made my visit extra special. From the moment I walked in, his friendly smile and attentive service had me feeling welcomed.
Guillermo was not only adorable but genuinely passionate about his work, offering great suggestions on the menu. He recommended the new stuffed crust pizza, and I have to admit, it was a game-changer! The crust was perfectly golden and cheesy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious.
