My first time here on July 4th for lunch. The food was great! I had the Swiss burger that came with fries. One of the best burgers i’ve had in a long time. The hamburger was seasoned perfectly and the fries were nice and crispy. We were able to look out on the lake. I really enjoyed the Western decor! Will definately go back for another pleasant afternoon lunch!

We went here today for the first time. The beer was cold, and the burger baskets were delicious! The staff was friendly, and the owner even came over to our table to personally greet us and wish my husband a Happy Father’s Day (we had our 12 and 14 year old with us). Our table felt like it was over the water. The view was so great of the lake. The place is dated but felt welcoming. If you are looking for a rustic outskirts of town spot to try, I highly recommend this grill!

I’m from New Orleans & was visiting some friends, Bob, Sandy & John, who live near the lake. They recommended Xanny’s. So we all went. It’s located in a small camp ground right on the lake. I wasn’t expecting much & was pleasantly surprised by the food, service & the great view. We ate inside but they have an outdoor deck overlooking the lake. You definitely want to get their prime rib. We all did. Some of the best I have ever had. My friends said the hamburgers are good too. The service was great. It definitely is a local hangout. Everyone seemed to know everyone which made for a lively & friendly atmosphere. It was a great experience & I highly recommend it. I will be going back for sure.

I’ve never been to a food establishment with worse customer etiquette. After going fishing we decided to stop in to support a small business. Immediately when we walked in we got stares from the employees on shift. Not sure if it was because we were outsiders or were younger people than the rest of their customers, but either way, was immediately singled out. I decided to order a Long Island iced tea and when it was brought out, it was so potent with the amount of alcohol in it, it was undrinkable. I politely told the waitress it was too strong for me, and that I wanted to swap it for a soda instead. After visibly showing her annoyance, she took the drink back behind the bar/kitchen.
Behind the bar the waitress and 2 others had a very loud conversation complaining about my return saying they didn’t care if I wanted to return it, and that I would still be charged for the $11 drink.
After finishing our food, they did end up taking the drink off the tab, but we will not be going back there, and I would recommend saving your money.

Had dinner last night. Small dining area, but food and service was great. You can’t beat the view. It’s a great get-away from-it all place. You won’t be disappointed!

We have a place on the other side of the lake and has been coming to get ice cream, ice, and bait from their shop for years now.
Today, we got ice creams from the shop and ate it at their deck (march 29). I had a water bottle (hydro flask) with me and one of their servers got out and told us hostilely that ‘i dont want that bottle in my deck’, ‘get that bottle out of my deck’. We were confused and shocked about what’s going on. We just up and left without a word.
It wouldn’t have hurt to ask us nicely.
We won’t be back.

The view of the lake while eating the best dinner was so peaceful. Had the best prawns and chips. The salad bar is amazing. Family owned and the waitresses were so nice.

A hidden gem. Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Salad bar is delicious and fresh. Philly cheesesteak sandwich is made with thinly-sliced, perfectly cooked and seasoned prime rib on a fresh Kaiser roll. Served au jus. Delicious. Bloody Mary was exceptional. My new favorite place.

The food was really good, a little bit on the expensive side, but its way out in the middle of nowhere so that is to be expected. The view was amazing. The staff was courteous and attentive. I will definitely go again.
