This location has gone downhill fast. Last Sunday, I ordered through the app and had someone pick it up for me. There were two orders. I’ve done it plenty of times before never had an issue until this time. They missed a whole meal and made us pull around to wait for the second order like it was being made fresh. None of the food was fresh btw. When I noticed that the meal was missing, I called the store to see if I could let them know and return to get it. The woman who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional. I explained that we were missing a meal and her response was “what?” So I repeated myself and she cut me off saying “First of all there were two orders” She was very confrontational about it as I’m aware I made two orders. There was no reason for the attitude when y’all made the mistake. So at this point, I’m upset because you’re trying to argue with me I paid my hard-earned money so of course I wanted the food that I paid for! I reached out to support because I knew if I went to the store it was not going to be a good experience. Support only offered $10 off the next order. But there will be no next order from this location. Management or whoever owns this location needs to get it together. The prices are already high, so why would customers want to spend their money at a place with horrible customer service and mediocre food?

Service was great. Drive thru time wasn’t too bad. Everything was fresh. They even put extra pickles on my sandwich per my request.. The Hottie Sauce is Everything. I love it on my biscuits. Anyway got home ready to rip my box down and the red beans and rice was more rice than beans. It was dry and rice was very undercooked. That’s my only complaint for this establishment. I’ll see how it goes next visit!
UPDATE: Popeye’s ought to be shame of they selves!!! Whoever on biscuits need to moved to another station asap. Biscuits were hard and dry. Chicken was not crispy at all. Spent $30+ for our meal asked for Hottie Sauce, she asked how many and I said 6. Unbeknownst to me I was charged 50 cents for each plus tax!!! Didn’t realize it until I got home. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Ordered boneless wings in the drive thru. I had to pull up past the windows so they could cook the boneless, keep in mind this is at 12:30 pm!! Middle of lunchtime. Got home and the boneless wings were huge but not cooked all the way through. Couldn’t eat my lunch.

Popeyes compromise way Phenix City Alabama the best management staff ever the best staff ever the best chicken ever I mean what more can you say it’s Popeyes these guys do an outstanding job they hooked us up for our work baby shower what a hit the Popeye’s Chicken was everybody wanted more & more I told them they’re right next door to go get you some more yourself I like to thank the staff for an outstanding job thank the staff for great teamwork the management there is awesome so glad to have a group of guys like this working at a great establishment we will be back all the time we’re there we’re on the parking lot we’re right beside you guys

The food was ok.
Not great not bad just so so. I was a little surprised at the cost of the popcorn shrimp compared to the portions i received. I am a small woman with a tiny appetite, so small that a half a sandwich fills me up. My popcorn shrimp could not do that am I spent $12.99 for the portion. I could of ordered a sub sandwich from somewhere close and got 3 meals for that. If the portion was one that would of satisfied me I would not of had an issue with it. But sadly it was not. I did also order some chicken fingers. The portion there was good. I got them for my dog and he loved every bite. I guess I just remembered bigger portions from a time long ago.
The employees that I had come into contact with were either very quiet or … The lady at the drive thru window was pleasant

Every time I visit the Popeyes in Phenix City on HWY 80, they never have chicken ready. They always want you to wait for 20 minutes or more. When you ask why they never have any chicken ready, they just laugh. This place is ridiculous!!

I am very disappointed in my visit to this particular location yesterday. The wait was entirely to long just to order and even longer wait for the food itself. And once I did get my food it wasn’t the quality I usually expect from Popeyes. The staff was to busy arguing amongst each other and even complaining about having to work. They decided to walk out back to take break during a busy time of day as customers were steady walking in. They are understaff and over worked is what it seemed like. I would not recommend stopping here unless you have patience and some time to spare. No managerial skills in the building whatsoever. I don’t know what happened but the workforce in general has gone down in shambles since Covid and it’s sad what people are doing to these poor restaurants

I am NOT one to critique fast-food as it is not supposed to be fine dining so I can understand the occasional poor quality & even the uninspired staff that serves it. I am writing this on behalf of the manager, Ms. Epiphany, who took my order. As soon as I entered the restaurant. I was promptly greeted & her courteous banter was appreciated as she assisted me with my unique meal order. Her apology was given & explained for the unavailability of particular soft-drinks at that moment. Lastly, I left the restaurant with no disappointments & all the more satisfied for the experience. I want to repeat, the fast-food business is low-tier but customer service should not be. Ms. Epiphany ensured a return to your establishment… all by herself.

These people have such attitudes, they want to tell you what you ordered even though you can show them on the app. They usually serve undercooked wings with the bone in while other items are hard from sitting too long, I can deal with the food issues most days, but the attitudes need go, if you can not give people their good without immediately having an attitude then don’t work in the food industry
