Everything was delicious! Sorry, we ate the Yumi roll and the dragon roll before a pic. So good! The spicy tuna also great! Sit at the sushi bar, enjoy miso and cucumber salad 🙂 The warm hand towel before eating was a nice touch. And a surprise pineapple dessert. Jun’s is the best.

This place is amazing! Very friendly staff in a very cute and cozy environment. They have the best Ramen on earth, and the sushi is to die for! Highly recommend

This place is great! Sat at the sushi bar, Roy was our chef – he’s been working here 30+ years I believe. Hamachi nigiri is my litmus test for sushi and it was excellent, melted like butter and cut correctly. We will definitely be back! I’m gf and it wasn’t hard to eat here, Roy made the pictured volcano roll with real crab (to avoid the gluten) and it was delicious.

Amazing service! Very attentive staff. The sushi wasn’t okay but the hot food was delicious. It felt like authentic Japanese dining. I especially loved the curry and the mustard that comes with the chicken katsu deserves a lot of respect! A lot of people who come in seem to be regulars. It’s great food at a decent price.

Honestly this place feels so authentic and peaceful. I’ve loved the vibe here all 3 times I’ve visited! The food is delicious and tastes very fresh! Sushi is also properly made with food flavor. I’m impressed that they get such a variety of fresh fish in landlocked state like Colorado. Can’t recommend this place enough for a quaint and authentic sushi experience!

Had a great time and ate great food here. However, we were asked to move seats because my party was occupying an area that seated 6. Apparently the other party didn’t provide information on how many were coming and apparently the restauraunt did not know or ask them how many either. We were hesitant to move because they offered only floor seats next to the front window when we were asked to move. We offered to move to the sushi bar instead and they said that was fine. It’s not a pleasant experience to have to move after being seated. It might be in the interest of the restauraunt to practice better information gathering so it doesn’t happen more often.

As far as table service we felt somewhat ignored as the dirty dishes sat next to use the whole time we were there. They also did not offer us any condiments nor could we have asked because our waitress did not come over after we moved and we ended up getting up to find our own.

The food was absolutely excellent and so was the attitude of the staff. We enjoyed conversation with the sushi chef and the person who seated us was polite as well.

We hope next time it is a much better experience next time concerning the attentiveness. Thank you Jun!

Came in with my dad for lunch. There was only 1 other table the whole time we were there.

Had to ask for waters, utensils, plates. . . Basically, everything other than the food itself.

My water had food particles in it, but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask for a new glass since I’d had to ask for water to begin with.

When the food did come out, the two California rolls we got were mismatched in cut, not cleaned up, and my dad got a significantly larger portion than mine. His was better looking but was cut unevenly.

The tempura was super bland, like straight up bland, the meat had no flavor and the batter was plain.

My chicken teriyaki was dry and not fully sauced. The salmon teriyaki tasted old and mushy, the sauce not really hiding the old tasting fish.

The waitress was SUPER nice but seemed nervous and confused.

Just overall not a good experience. I will not be returning to this location.

I’ve been going to Jun’s for a long time, I have fond memories of eating here when I was a kid. I prefer to sit at the bar so I can watch rolls being prepared. One of the best places in town for great tasting fish, it can be quite busy during prime hours so plan ahead for parties. My favorite thing to get is a chirashi, and especially when certain chefs make it

This is my go-to place every time I’m in Colorado Springs. It’s amazing that you can get such good sushi in a landlocked state, but it’s all amazing, and the nigiri is always generously-sized. I’m especially fond of their salmon and eel, but it’s the squid that absolutely blows my mind. I lived in Japan for more than four years and never had squid so good.

Jun’s rolls are also fabulous. I don’t like cream cheese in sushi rolls, ever…except at Jun, where somehow they make it work. We always get a Becca roll and a Blind Date roll and they are always phenomenal.

The atmosphere is nice, with a sort of traditional Japanese austerity to it, and the service is always pleasant. There are fake Japanese -style tables (floor level, but with a sort of well space to dangle your legs in if you’re not keen to sit in the Japanese manner) and I always appreciate it when I’m greeted with a hearty “Irasshaimase!” (the traditional greeting when customers enter shops and restaurants and such).

It’s an expensive meal, especially when you order like we do, so I don’t do it often, but when I do it’s worth every penny.

Awesome sushi and salmon! I got the shrimp tempura roll & the teriyaki salmon with tempura. They give you a ton of food, the waitress was super sweet that I had and the guy Roy has been there for a long time and obviously knows what he’s doing because the sushi roll was on point! I’ll definetly be back. Not too bad of a price for lunch either.
