Small carry out spot. 3 counter seats. Seats at the counter, but no seating, only for pick-up. Maybe put the stools away from the front counter then?
Hazelnut latte, large, cold brew, stewed beans and a chicken gyro. $24.13
I ended up with a lamb gyro and a spinach feta, not my order at all.
A woman that picked up her carry out order came back after noticing her order was not correct. The orders were mixed up.
They redid both orders.
Staff apologized for the mix-up. Took names for orders after us.
The hazelnut latte is different, it’s good.
The stewed beans aren’t bad, tomato base. Decided to pack it up to eat at home with some other hot sauce, Cholula and red hot sauce doesn’t work with this for me.
The chicken gyro is packed with a good amount of meat, onions and fries. The tzatziki sauce is thick and creamy. The chicken meat is dry. Added some cholula to get it down the hatchet.
Staff seem warm and friendly.

This is hands down a gem in the Eastern Market-
Stumbled upon Mitsos in search of a good meal and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed with incredibly friendly staff who made us feel very welcome as we walked in with our dog (not usual for the Eastern Market). Left such an impression, just a good bunch of people. The food selection was also immense, portions were generous, and the quality was just great.
We will definitely be heading back whenever we’re at the Eastern Market. Highly recommend.

Detroit has quite a few options when it comes to food and on a whim me and my girlfriend were in the mood for a gyro. I googled what was near us and we found this spot and decided to try it. First impressions is they were busy but very efficient they worked like a well oiled machine getting food to customers quickly. I ordered our gyros and drinks and sat outside about 3 min later we had our food. So it looked huge and fresh, we both dove in our gyros and the only word to describe it, is delicious. The pork gyro was well seasoned and the pita was grilled and toasty and the sauce was tangy and flavorful. This place has a very authentic taste and thats really what gives it an edge. To be honest this gyro has got to be the best in all of Detroit hands down. Definitely recommend this place.
Recently on 9/28/25 i stopped by this place to try the lamb gyro this time and WOW…there is no doubt in my mind, it is the best I’ve ever had and it is now my #1 gyro spot and it should be on everyone’s list.

I went for the trending breakfast gyro. While it was very good (and I’ll definitely be back), it was a very American sausage, egg, and cheese wrapped in a pita. Both the gyro and coffee were tasty.

Thhhheeee greatest Greek food you’ll find in the area. By a laaaand slide. Always fresh, ALWAYS amazing in taste + presentation, timely, cost efficient, clean, and great/professional/kind customer service. My brother put me on to this place last year. Started coming back here as of recent, quite frequently! HIGHLY recommend.

My husband and I tried this location while in the area. OMG IM SO GLAD I did!!! The gyro was to die for the pita and the meat are so tasty. Don’t even get me started on the meatballs & rice. It tasted like their grandmother cooked it, a home made comfort food meal. I am so happy I ordered this. The service was impeccable, you can tell they care about their customers! I will absolutely go back when in the area! Thank you!!!

First time here and absolutely in love! Got the traditional Greek gyro (pork) and it’s superb! Giant, fresh, juicy and delicious. Tons of flavor. Tzatziki is on point. The iced coffee is . Gigante beans are tender and full of flavor yet not oversalted. Owners are super sweet. Will be back!!!

Went by on Saturday and they had the longest line in the whole market. Came back on Monday and had a lemonade and this delicious fried feta with honey and sesame crust. If I lived in Detroit, this would be trouble. Wish I had room to try the other offerings.
