Tried different things here, and they were consistently good.
For breakfast, my favorite option is the 3 cheese and bacon kolache. They only have brewed coffee, and I usually prefer espresso pours, but their coffee is good too.
The sourdough bread is also good. They sell out early on weekends, so don’t come in too late in the morning!

First visit and we’re in love! We were traveling from colorado to south carolina and I googled bakeries and coffee shops in STL and found Knead. The fact that their bread and pastries are sourdough is what made me want to go! Sourdough takes things to a whole other level in my mind…flavor wise plus it’s easier to digest.
The whole experience was impressive…cute place, delicious pastries (the pumpkin pie cruffin was my fav), friendly staff, and even got to meet the owner, Kirsten and her little girl! Kirsten found out we were traveling and gave us a bag of butter and sea salt sourdough shortbread cookies to enjoy on the road. If you haven’t already tried these, please do. mmmmm—crunchy, buttery goodness!

Knead bakery is a cute bakery+cafe with sourdough baked goods. Croissants are a must-try. Their weekend cinnamon roll is super tasty. And, of course, their bread is delicious. We haven’t found anything we don’t like. A great spot for a weekend brunch!

Amazing. We were gifted a gift basket from Knead, it was so good I drove out of my may to visit on the next trip to St Louis. Breakfast sandwich and donut were absolutely delicious. I love sourdough, taking half the bakery home with me. Will go out of my way again to visit next month when we come back to the city. So excited!

Overall a great experience! I was just picking up food, but I would have enjoyed looking around a little more ( if I had had more time).
If you decide to go … parking is limited, so possibly go earlier in the day.

I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the pancakes with drip coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, perfectly golden, and not overly sweet—just the kind you want to savor with every bite.
The coffee was smooth, fresh, and a great match for breakfast. Just a quick note: they offer drip coffee only (no espresso drinks), but honestly, the quality makes it more than enough.
Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and truly comforting food. I’ll definitely be back!

I LOVE their bread! It’s always so delicious! I feel
comfortable buying their bread when I do eat it because it’s all quality ingredients and care from the kitchen! It doesn’t stop at the bread the sweets are amazing too! I get the chocolate chip cookies for my co-worker’s birthdays! A bit pricey but it’s so good and treats should be special! Highly recommend! Oh wait!!! The sandwiches breakfast or lunch are ridiculously delicious!!

Knead is great. Orange iced donut sublime. Coffee is solid, thankfully not Blueprint or Kaldis. I hope their prices are quite high because they’re paying their staff fairly and/or offering some atypical benefits…and if that IS the case, I’ll just say WTG…but maybe hang a sign that tells the whole story. Parking can be snug. But 4 stars overall.

Online ordering was a breeze with great pictures, descriptions and customizations. We did takeout and the orders was nicely bagged and on time. They even were kind enough to combine two orders of the same name into one bag and put both receipts on the bag! The food was AMAZING. One of the best breakfast bakeries I’ve had in all my travels. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches (eggs perfectly cooked and aioli is amazzzzzing), plus the GOOEY cinnamon rolls.
