First time in the area in our travel and our waiter Ryan was awesome. Not only did he provide excellent service he gave us some tips for our stay and was spot on. THANK YOU Ryan!!

Didn’t even realize they were open during the summer. I got the wings and the poke tuna bowl. Both were awesome. The guy waiting on me was the same bartender I had during ski season, and both times the service was awesome.

Stopped in before riding Loveland pass and the bartender, Serge put a shot of pink Whitney and a lemon in my twisted tea and my mind is kind of blown. Yummy! Thank you and what an Awesome vibe here that got me more hyped to ride! I will be back!

Went out to get a burger after doing a hike. Was excited as heard good things from others about being a great place with great vibe. The outdoor seating provides great view and the food has the potential to be great too. Unfortunately our waitress botched about everything and things took incredibly long. We had a group of 10 folks and multiple groups were seated after us and had their food/drinks before we even had our waters. The waitress messed up our food several times and my burger came out RAW, but being it had taken so long was afraid to send it back. Being it was a group of 10 she automatically got a 20% tip was not earned in the least bit. Cool location but the staffing needs significant improvement if your going to charge $20+ for a burger!

Amazing views and vibes, especially from the sun-drenched deck. Our food was average, and expensive, but expected for the place. Still a cool place with good staff. Sep 2022

One of the more miserable dining experiences i’ve ever had. Came in, ordered, and then were left alone for about 30 min. Eventually our waitress came back and said “Oh…let me check on your food” It was clear that they had totally forgotten.

The food is pretty good — my favorite being the the Fig & Pig sandwich. However, the attitudes of some of the waitstaff have some pretty negative gravity that pull the stars down. Coming in for lunch on a Monday at 1pm and asking for a table for one is asking a lot, especially when there are 9 open tables. I understand times are hard lately and staffing difficulties are real. Oddly, I was invited to sit at the bar, if I wanted. If a slim dude with a beard offers bar seating, just try the cafeteria instead.

Phenomenal menu for a base of a ski mountain. Full bar and great service as well. Can get a little crowded right at lunch time or around 4 pm. The menu is expensive but you get LOADS of food. If you’re not too hungry, split a plate with someone.

This is the lodge at a Basin ski area. It’s got good hamburgers. I had a giant pile of nachos that was astoundingly tall. They’ve got Coco and coffee and of course alcohol and beer Bear. Bloody Mary’s are the most famous thing I can see on the menu if you’re looking to get an abasin mug, you’ll need to get there before sunrise on opening day because they sell out that test for the seasonal mugs. There are glasses and mugs in the gift shop adjoining the building
