Today was my first time here when you walk in not gonna lie not the most inviting inside but I don’t judge based on that I ordered the general tso and some dumplings and the food is phenomenal I usually can judge a place based on their general tso and I’ll definitely be back. The rice I got was perfectly cooked the chicken is juicy and fried but not in a heavy weigh you down kind of feeling the flavours are phenomenal. The kind gentleman on the counter gave me a very beautiful scroll calendar for 2026 and plenty of sauces etc. Customer service was wonderful and they were more than polite and courteous.

Best Chinese food in the Syracuse area! Love the honey chicken! It’s amazing. It’s always hot and fresh! The portions are generous too! Thank You HK takeout for all your hard work!

I love, and I mean love Asian cuisine. This being my only experience with this resteraunt, i hope it was just an off day for them. With that said, i ordered general tso and fried rice, and 2 other platters. The food was cold, literrally cold, soggy and absolutely tastless. The sauce on the general tso chicken tasted like ketchup. The fried rice was white rice with a couple onions in it. Literally steamed white rice with a couple onions. The hot and spicy chicken was as hot as ice water. The sweet and sour chicken was popcorn chicken with watery sauce. I will probably not give a second try.

I used to go out of my way for HK and would recommend them often. The last few years I’ve seen a rise in costs and that’s okay, times are changing and we adapt. But with the rise in costs the quality shouldn’t also decline. The past 2 orders I’ve had from here have been less than satisfactory. I’m optimistic and hope this is just a slump. I’ll give them another chance for old times sake and update this review based. I hope it won’t be my final visit. Best of luck to you HK.

I just placed an order i will say the shrimp and broccoli was not good the chicken wings were OK and the dumplings were the best the shrimp lo main is super dry. This place does not add sauce to anything everything is dry. If your starving I would go but if you have time go somewhere else.

This is my favorite Asian food in the city. Good value for the price, affordable but when you get the right things here it’s great!! Every single time I get the same thing and it’s perfect every time: the pork fried rice is perfectly cooked, and I always get bourbon chicken and boneless spare ribs. I’d love to see more pictures of the actual food because I’d like to try new things here but I want to see what it’s actually going to look like. $43 with a $5 tip from DoorDash.

Shrimp and vegetables were delicious and fresh. Wonton soup was Yums! Portions are small but still worth the price.

Every time I order ribs from this restaurant it so dry no bbq sauce no nothing !!!!! They refused to remake the food or give me back my money. I threw the food in the trash and they have rude employees and the manager need manager training along with his employees. They all need customers service training and a real cook. I will never eat there again and I will not recommend anyone to eat there . The food nasty, dry and waste of money.
