Sawyer’s is one of those places that just feels right the second you walk in. The atmosphere is upscale but comfortable — perfect for date night, drinks with friends, or even just grabbing a solid meal at the bar.
The food is consistently good and actually worth the price. You can tell they put thought into the menu, and the presentation matches the quality. Their cocktails are a highlight too — balanced, creative, and not watered down.
Service has always been friendly and attentive without hovering, which makes the whole experience smooth.
If you’re looking for a spot in Harrisburg that feels a little elevated without being pretentious, Sawyer’s is definitely a go-to.

A very fun place to be! Been going there since I was legal to enter. It’s a staple of downtown, and worth checking out! Being outside in the fresh air, fires going, etc., it really is it’s own thing.

Place is kept up with nicely great staff security makes people feel safe and the bartenders make the drinks perfect not to strong not too weak, the manager always seems to be quick to respond when she is needed! Highly recommend

I was here alone and made the best of the situation. I was served by their inside bartender who is very personable and very engaged with her customers creating a great vibe to match the atmosphere. I have to give a huge shout out to Zoe for her professionalism as a bartender who cares for the customers. I appreciate your personable attitude as it is much appreciated as a customer who appreciates great service. She made me feel welcomed as if we had known each other for a while. The security guy Rayden was also a good vibe as he made sure all patrons were legitimate to enter the premises and also provided a great vibe to match the energy of the establishment. He made the establishment feel safe and he takes his position and safety seriously as safety is key nowadays. I had 3 chicken tacos which was surprisingly a good sized portion that I did not expect, but they exceeded my expectations in the taste department. Shout out to the cook for that. This was a great visit for me and I would come back here to support them just for the vibes they have created here. Keep up the great work even tho you may not know it you all are doing a great job.

I cannot believe that these two guys made me feel so bad about being a Mexican. The guy in the entrance was so rude and racist; he wanted me to bring my visa and passport, which are pretty delicate documents. I was planing to have fun, of course I did NOT bring such important documents. Every other country understands foreign IDs are valid documents.

Emo night was fun last night but the DJ after emo night was not good I gave them 3 songs and I left…would have stayed of the music was better after but overall it’s a nice location for drinks and a good time!

I was kicked out for “falling asleep.” I wasn’t falling asleep and the security lied saying they were watching me. I was texting my friends the entire time. They tried to say they were watching me which I know wasn’t true bc i only say when they walked up to me. This is the most sober I have been and I am very disappointed by my experience
