This beautiful restaurant was a great find while in Prague. We didn’t have a reservation but were delighted they had a table for two. We started with the mixed green salad and the onion soup, and both were delicious. My husband is hoping he can call the restaurant for the onion soup recipe. For the entree we chose to share the beef bourguignon and omg.. the dish tasted as delectable as it looked! The bread was so soft and perfect for dipping and soaking up the gravy of the beef bourguignon. We finished the meal with the vanilla crème brûlée which did not disappoint and was light. We really enjoyed the entire experience from the atmosphere, the service, and oh my the food! Make a point to put Pot-au-feu on your list when in Prague.

An exceptional culinary experience. Every dish is flavourful and of high quality and the presentation is well taken care of. Dinner was a real treat with every bite. Each dish is cleverly thought out and perfectly executed.
If we ever visit Prague again this restaurant will be on my list definitely

From my point of view the best French restaurant at Prague. We were never disappointed and all the time fully satisfied.

Fortunate to be seated at a front table and to receive the best of attention. We chose from the permanent menu and were delighted with the quality of food served. Lovely combinations of flavours in each dish. I can especially recommend the grilled scallops starter. My only complaint is that we didn’t find this restaurant until our last day in Prague so only ate there once.

Waiter was super lovely. Food was incredible. The starter i had, I have never had anything like it before, it was a poached egg in a martini glass with some kind of cream and 2 types of truffle, it was so unusually delicious.

All our food and drinks were great. The bread came with some kind of foam in an espresso cup, which I’ve also never had before.

Great food and service, highly recommend

The food and the service was fantastic, an atmosphere – a bit too loud, but eh – a birthday must be a happy one!
Mushroom cappuccino was a revelation, and the octopus – the best I had in my life! Keep it up! Thank You!

We love France and the French cuisine. Sometimes we like to be challenged with new, innovative and strange food combinations. But we often end up in a classic restaurant where the focus is on taste, season and top craftsmanship. Pot au Feu is such a place. If you are in Prague and miss the kitchen of your French grandma (unfortunately we never had one!) this is where to go. Very warm and friendly service. Impressive wine list. Good value for money. No wonder Pot au Feu is mentioned in the Michelin guide.

Stunning dinner, made even better by the wonderful service. I must admit we were somewhat amazed at the speed our starters came out (it felt as though we had barely ordered), but after that the pacing was much more relaxed. The armagnac-by-the-glass list stretching back to the ‘30s is also a nice touch!

Absolutely stunning food, great service with attention to detail. Lovely French music in the back to bring you into the mood. This gem serves high quality food and has an impressive wine list. Whether you would like to enjoy a Pauillac or Margaux or even Sauternes.. it’s all there.

I enjoyed an amazing meal starting with an amuse bouche of cucumber gazpacho (perfectly spiced and refreshing). Then I had the scallops which are a must-try, when you come by. Then heading into the boeuf bourgignon I had little room left. The portions are very generous!! We shared a crepe Suzette (the picture thus shows only half) but our server was so attentive to place half portions on their own plates!

We noticed a great list of beautifully aged armagnacs on the menu, so we ordered one from the 60’s. Even though another bottle held a little still, our server chose to open up a completely new one. These kind and attentive gestures to serve the highest quality of food and drinks makes a dinner at Pot-au-feu an amazing and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return here when we visit Prague.
