Good food- I got the crispy sesame chicken, which I will not get again as the meat was so chewy and almost dried out. The sauce was very good though and I love the white rice.
My husband got the beef with broccoli which was very good. The broccoli was perfectly tender yet crisp and the sauce was delicious.
Crab rangoons were okay. Pot stickers were very good. Won ton soup was mediocre- it was included but I would never go out of my way to order it
It depends on what you order, but if you order the right items it’s excellent.
Small parking lot but there is room on the street directly behind it.
Fast and friendly service.
We will eat here again but I will stick to the lunch specials menu as they have some great options.

I tried Bao Ju for the first time yesterday and went with their $8.99 luncheon special, which includes an entrée, fried rice, and an egg roll, a great deal! I ordered the Hunan Chicken, and it was so good. Full of flavor and the chicken was incredibly tender. The fried rice was also tasty and cooked just right.

The egg roll, however, was a bit of a letdown. It seemed to be mostly cabbage and didn’t have much flavor. I also ordered the crab rangoons, which looked beautiful, golden, crispy, and generously filled, but they fell short on taste. They were missing that sweet, creamy flavor that makes crab rangoons so addictive.

Overall, the meal was solid and the Hunan Chicken alone makes it worth going back, but I’ll probably try different appetizers next time.

I picked it up to go and the workers, were not very friendly. I understand there is a language barrier but they didn’t even say hi, just gave me the food and took my money. No thank you at all. Otherwise, I enjoyed my meal and my tummy was happy!

The crab meat ragoons were small and flavorless. The hot and sour soup was hearty but watery. The General Tso was PHENOMENAL. Crispy breading, big pieces of chicken, and a great sauce.

Good, but won’t knock your socks off. I got the Kung Pao Lovers which comes with Crab rangoons, rice and a soup. The crab rangoons were amazing! Best part of the meal. The service was fast and courteous. I really like how they brought out various parts of the dish over time. The order was rangoons > soup > main course. The next part of the meal was showing up just as I finished the previous one.

The meat for the main dish was cooked perfectly, but it wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked. Most Chinese places I go to, medium heat is hot enough to make my nose run and turn my face red. This was mild at best, barely any heat.

The dish was generally lacking a bit in flavor. It kinda feels like they’re catering to your typical white person that considers black pepper spicy. However, the flavor was not offensively lacking and was overall good.

Portion size is typical for a Chinese joint, maybe a bit less. Plan to take home a box.

Atmosphere was very chill. It was just me and one other table. It was quiet with a small amount of background music and TV noises.

Overall not bad, but not a home run for me. I’ll be checking out other Chinese places in the area.

Bao Ju is a typical Chinese restaurant that does not necessarily set itself apart from the others except I did find it to be a more pleasant dining experience than many. I ordered the Sweet and sour pork with fried rice but my order arrived white rice. This was remedied right away with no fuss. My mistake as the fried rice was rather bland and disappointing. However, the portion size of my entire meal was considerable and I left with a take home container. The inside was clean and comfortable and perhaps nicer than many places I have eaten. Aside from the fried rice, the food was very good and the staff was very pleasant.

Food is good. Employees are unfriendly. They demand more tip money if they feel it is inadequate as in her words ‘you must change that to 25%, 15% is not enough’ or if you’re lucky like me, she will alter it on the credit slip for you then you will need to dispute it with your bank. Tips are appreciated, NOT expected but at Bao Ju the slogan is ” Tips mandatory and not appreciated”. Seems like this is an ongoing issue and she has chased people to their cars or blocked the door.

I expected it to be really good according to reviews. But i was disappointed.
The food was horrible. The egg rolls had no pork in them. The chicken was really overcooked for the sesame seed chicken. There was bones in the chicken. Would not recommend.

A unique take on General Tso! They use a thick and deliciously sweet, smokey, and spicy sauce, and pair it with deep fried large tender pieces of chicken thighs. Pair that with some white rice and you’re ready to rock and roll.
