Very unfortunate experience. Used to frequent this restaurant often. Food and employees are pleasant, but after finding a creepy crawly in our veggies today with a take-out order, appetite is forever ruined.

The broth was rich with robust pork and shrimp flavor, but it didn’t quite capture the essence of a classic Vietnamese pho. It was missing the subtle sweetness and aromatic spice balance typically found in other pho cafes. While the garnishes were fresh, the broth’s flavor profile didn’t align with my expectations. If you enjoy a highly savory and less sweet broth, you might find it appealing. However, if you’re looking for a more traditional, sweeter broth, I recommend exploring other options.
This experience will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. I chose to leave a tip despite the staff’s noticeable lack of warmth or acknowledgment. We will not return here to dine again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Simi. I like the vermicelli dishes, the sandwiches, and the spring rolls. I’ve done both dine in and take out and been happy either way! I haven’t had the drinks yet but keep meaning to try them.

Delightfully attentive staff & a lush, relatively quiet environment will bring me back here for years to come I had the shrimp spring rolls and a Vietnamese ice coffee and both were superb! Fresh shrimp & vegetables, and the coffee is both delectable and strong enough to lift a tractor 10/10, bring a date or even a client here, you won’t be disappointed

SO good if you’re looking for vegetarian and plant-based options! I got the vegetarian pho and vegetarian egg rolls and tofu spring rolls and they were amazing. My kids got the kids meals which came with chicken, rice, and egg rolls. My 1 year old loved it and it was his first time having Vietnamese food. The 5 of us also got a mango boba smoothie to share and we loved it. The kid menu is a bit costly compared to other places, but it was a fun experience and the service was amazing. We will definitely return!

Always a good time at Bamboo Cafe. Took my son out to lunch there today for his 21st birthday. He ordered Pho & me & the wife got Bahn Mi’s. Everything was good. Fast. Fresh. Love the remodel too. More tables & the interior is brighter & more modern.

Food here has always been pretty good but since the pandemic hit, they’ve raised their prices a lot (much like everywhere else) and I don’t feel like the quality matches the price anymore. Egg rolls are always a good choice and the vermicelli noodle bowls are crisp and tasty so if you’re here give them a try, especially their fish option
