It’s a mostly self service. You get your own utensils, napkins, put away your dishes and pay at the front. Food was good but nothing mind blowing. Salmon onigiri was really good though definitely give that a try.

Fuji is always a welcome sight whenever my stomach starts grumbling on Pearl Street. Just a quick turn off from the shops, this cozy spot offers light and filling lunch options. japanese/indian/nepalese dishes here ranging from onigiri, curry, and rice bowls. They have a onigiri set that lets you pick three flavors!

My personal favorite meal is the Unagi Bowl with their iced green tea.

It’s the perfect spot for a rest and a meal. I love Fuji restaurant and bar.

It’s a cute little spot in Pearl Street Mall area! It’s not too small cause they have several tables. I believe it’s counter served because there’s a counter and a register but I could be wrong. We just wanted a small lunch so we didn’t order too much.

I got a side of tofu, rice and veggie chow mein. The taste doesn’t taste too different from any Asian food I’ve tasted. It’s your standard chow mein. But the tofu I did not expect it the way it was serve. It was serve cold and unfortunately it wasn’t for me. I did appreciate they had free Chai while you wait for your food!!!

The place is not hard to locate and there’s parking everywhere. Warning: you have to pay for parking but it fairly cheap!

Great lunch spot with delicious food.

I had the momo platter and tried two of each (veggie, pork, chicken) plus four beef.

I’ve been to Nepal and the momo was spot on!

Enjoyed a nice dinner here. Great space, quiet and well attended. The staff were super nice helping us with an allergy question. We had the momo platter and the tikka masala. Both were tasty and came out quickly! Would recommend.

Ordered a bunch of food with our Groupon. The onigiri I ordered were unagi and mentaiko. I received the mentaiko with umeboshi on top on the right here; the mentaiko was filled with umeboshi. I was hungry and it was busy in the restaurant so I just ate it as it was. The rice was a nice texture but could have used some salt. My friend got the momo soup and wasn’t aware that it would have a curry flavor. The momo were also a bit doughy and thick for my taste. I also ordered the chicken curry which I was surprised that it was served on a plate as opposed to a bowl since it was a bit loose of a sauce. I was expecting Japanese curry but this was more of a Nepalese curry I suppose? It also came with a couple of stalks of broccoli which weirdly were cold at the ends. We also ordered the chilled tofu. I have had this dish at many places and this was probably the weirdest version I’ve had. The sauce was served on the side which I can understand not wanting the bonito flakes to get all soggy but then there was two huge dollops of grated ginger on top as well. No scallions or anything included either, pretty underwhelming. Stopped in because of the groupon, wouldn’t come back if I were in the area again.

I got the Yakisoba-like noodles with beef and a matcha tea. The noodles came pretty cold and honestly pretty disappointing. Although the indian/tibetan spices were a nice fusion touch, the meat was too stringy and tasteless, likely from a “cheaper” part of the cow. Matcha was pretty good but not creamiest I’ve had. Definitely real matcha though.

Service was fast. Bathroom very clean. Not 3 stars because giving them the benefit of the doubt since most other reviews are good and covid has not been easy for restaurants.

Delicious flavor profile. 4th time at this place and keep coming back. Lots of flavor with less sauce. Poke bowls are amazing. Family owned, great service.

Incredible fusion, Asian and something else. This place is a hidden gem! Right off the pearl street mall, it can get really crazy during the lunch rush some come a little after or before.

The salmon is my favorite, smoky and tender! Any dish it is in is going to make you very satisfied.

The rice balls are such a bargain especially the mushroom filled, so good!

Great service here, although you can expect to wait during the lunch rush. Be kind, these guys work hard for you.
