I ordered the Penne Baci for lunch at Dante’s Italiano and it was SO good perfectly cooked pasta and amazing flavor in every bite. You can really tell the care that goes into the food. Executive Chef Shawn and the servers were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I already know this is going to be my new regular lunch spot! ✨

It’s obvious it’s been sold. We’ve given it a few tries recently and sadly, we were very disappointed…then found out it was sold. but we used to love Dantes and hope it improves.
New owners/management: you may want to revisit some decisions if you want to keep the steady clients like us, who have been going to Dante’s for many years! Changes you’ve made don’t work for us. Grandmas pizza used to be very thin and tasty. Staff used to know the menu, were friendly, checked on their tables soon after serving, refilled drinks without being called, offered cheese and condiments for the food before walking away, etc. etc. during our last visit, there were more employees than customers, only a few tables, so no excuse.
Despite being a subjective aspect, the new artwork is absolutely aweful…really distasteful for an “Italian” place; ruins the atmosphere.
Best thing this last visit was the appetizer, but all was downhill from there. The sangria— which used to be the best around in our view —before the changes— was terrible this time;, tasted spoiled. Waitress didn’t even know if you served sangria when we ordered it.
If you have good service and good food/drinks at reasonable prices, you don’t need to change decor and use gimmicky events to get people in there.
So sad after so many years that Dante’s is no longer great nor special, and not where we’ll be going.

I am reviewing since the new ownership and management. I’m not sure when the change took place but I haven’t been here in years. When they opened for lunch, I gave them another shot. I am so glad I did! I’ve been back 5 times since, including once for dinner. The bread rolls!!! Amazing. Sausage and pepper sandwich is the best I’ve had. Meatball sandwich is excellent. Pizza is very good. Both side salads are excellent, especially the Caesar. Everyone here is very nice!

Ordered the Valentine’s Day special; short ribs, over polenta and broccoli. Fantastic! I hope this entree gets a regular rotation. Excellent flavor, nice portion size. Rolls are fantastic too. Put us on the list next time you plan to feature the short ribs. Servers and bartender were excellent as well.

Excellent food in a strip mall location. Went here with some friends based on the online reviews. Lasagna was very good as were our other pasta dishes. We ordered a pizza also as an appetizer which was also tasty and light. One of the better pizzas around.
We split desserts which was rich and full of flavor.
We had more than we could eat so our server Victoria took our plates away and returned with our boxed up leftovers. Very classy.

Love coming to Dante’s ! The staff is super friendly and fun. The food is awesome too! There is a new chef who has made some modifications to the recipes, and the food is awesome too! Great vegetarian options and the team is flexible to find others ways to make non-veg items vegetarian. For the carnivores out there the lasagna and the meat balls are fantastic.

I got a coupon from FB for $10 off an entree. So I called to check the validity & what I can order. I ordered a large godfather pizza. Was told my coupon was honored but when I got home & count my change, they charged me full price (or they can’t calculate change if you pay with a $100). The pizza seemed under cooked. The dough seemed a little under done, the additional toppings (ones we requested to add) seem not cooked (bellpeppers were raw & black olives seem liked they were sprinkled on after the pizzawas cooked). As if they already had a pre made godfather pizza & just added the additional toppings that we requested. The pizza was not hot at all.. so sad, seems like either there’s new owners or the owners lost their passion. Good luck DI!!

I had a great experience eating lunch here, the staff are friendly and the food was good! I thought the prices were comparable to big chain Italian restaurants but the food was 10x better so it makes it MORE worth it!
We felt really bad because my friend didn’t like his meal. But the staff was very gracious about it and comped the meal since he wasn’t able to eat it. This was nobodies fault-it was just one of those moments where unfortunately you try something different and wind up not liking it and the staff were nothing but kind and generous about it through our embarrassment. I got the portobello mushroom sandwich for lunch and it was sooooo good. I will come back in the future

Let me point out my wife and I went out for a night out so we did not order pizza. That being said the appetizer of calamari was wonderful and her small salad starter was excellent, all ingredients nice and fresh and the balsamic dressing was delightful. But the dinners well they fell short of the mark. I love veal parm and I was excited to see this on the menu. When I heard the chef or cook depending pounding the meat in the kitchen I was excited to say the least. But when I received the meal I was disappointed. The cut of meat was still tough after the pounding it received and the sauce was burnt at some point giving the whole meal a burnt after taste. The whole plate was covered and doused im the burnt sauce and cheese. In the end it tasted like I was eating softened burnt shoe leather. What I found interesting is my wife chose a cream based pasta dish that was infused with sauce and it must have been the same sauce because her sauce also tasted burnt.
