9PM, store claims to close at 10PM both online and on their doors. Doors unlocked and fully lit store yet literally nobody in there, not even a car parked outside. Okay then, I guess you won’t get my money?

Total disappointment. Long John’s has changed SO much and not for the better. I’m old enough to remember how awesome this place was – fresh hand battered chicken and fish (you could watch them!) And the coleslaw! It rivaled Kentucky Fried Chicken’s coleslaw. What we received today almost looked like lettuce shreds drenched in some type of sauce not even close to the original.
So, to start we used the drive-thru and were “greeted” by a very unhappy worker. I ordered the 2 piece chicken, it comes with a drink, waffle fries and 2 hush puppies. I chose Pepsi for my drink. It was a “fountain” drink and wasn’t mixed correctly, weakest Pepsi I’ve ever had. The chicken has shrunk to about the size of McDonald’s chicken strips. The hush puppies were fine and the waffle fries were ok too but there weren’t very many compared to the regular fries they “used to serve”. Missing from the meal was the all important “batter crumbles”. (My husband ordered the fish & chicken with the same experience).
So disappointing.

The Motto of modern business owners today. Instead of trying to “impress” their customers so they come back, they just don’t care one way or the other, where is the pride in your business? There are only so many people, you’d think you’d want repeat customers… We won’t be one of them.

I stopped by this place on my way back from East Palestine. The food was fresh, and I had the lobster. The lobster was good, but it is not “real” lobster. It does taste nice and similar to rock or Maine lobster. The price was a little high (nearly $18), but overall, it was worth it. The parking lot is very difficult to navigate.

What can i say? I may either be a Long Johns advocate but everytime ive went i never ran into a problem. Yeah maybe a hushpuppy or 2 were bad but i always enjoyed the food. Long Johns is a dang staple for me in seafood although its fast food and artery clogging ill always visit Long Johns here and there.

I just went thru the drive thru and got a #10 and #11. The fish, chicken, and shrimp were all overcooked. Hard as a rock! I got waffle fries that were hard as a rock. And the coleslaw, which USED to be my favorite, had big chunks of cabbage. Overall I was disgusted with my meals. After spending $33.xx on our meals, we will NEVER go here again. I even tried calling them and they won’t answer their phone.

Ordered the shrimp meal. It was lukewarm and only the hushpuppies were crisp. Breading on the shrimp was soft and mushy. Fries were limp
