I usually always get the hibachi but this time I got fried shrimp shumai and shrimp tempura. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!! The hibachi is always great but I’m glad I tried something different today!!! I really want to try the squid salad but I’m nervous about it. If you’re in Fayetteville TN, this place is a MUST TRY!!! You will not regret it!!!

A favorite place for my wife and I to eat for a local date night, quaint, simple atmosphere with great food and always friendly service. Whether is be graving take out or dining in, this place never disappoints. We can spend 30 bucks or 100 bucks and never regret it. Not just sushi either, you can definitely find something you’ll enjoy in the menu.

Our family members from Alabama, Texas, Minnesota, and Tennessee gathered for dinner and decided on take out from Yamato. Everybody raved about how delicious, fresh, tasty, perfect this dinner was.
Definitely worth what we paid as the portions were plentiful.

I just got dinner to go here and it was SOOO MUCH GOOD FOOD FOR A GREAT PRICE! I ordered the bento box and some sushi for under $30 and I have lunch for tomorrow too. Will return! Great food!!

Don’t let the exterior fool you, this place is really good. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, BUT they are sprucing it up bit by bit. Every time we go they have added some art or painted or something to make it a bit nicer, so atmosphere improves over time. The real draw, though, is the food. It is solid Japanese style, not exceptional for the most part but very good and consistently so. Be sure to have tempura appetizers, those ARE exceptional, I have never had better anywhere. The service is always friendly and efficient. I can unreservedly recommend Yamato, you will not be disappointed.
