I visited Potbelly today and had a really uncomfortable experience. One of the staff members raised her voice at customers for no reason, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this so future customers have a better experience. I just can’t believe it, It disgusts me.

My favorite of all is the wreck sandwich! Clean location and super nice staff. I as asked if I need a bag and he even took time to pack the stuff for me, I appreciate the extra care and help. Location is easy to access but sometimes you need to allow more time to find parking in garage.

My family and I stumbled upon this place today. Since I’ve never eaten there before, I grabbed a menu and tried to figure out how to order. I let the girl at the counter know it was my first time. I ordered a sandwich and a drink for delivery. They didn’t have the drink I paid for. Instead of contacting me to see how they could make it right. They shoved their cheapest bottled water in my bag. Wrote that they were out of my drink on the receipt and that was that. When I tried calling them several times to discuss the issue no one answered the phone. As a former manager of a sandwich shop similar to this one. I am appalled this is not how you do business. My name & number was on the receipt. You call your customers to ask how they would like to proceed. Either offer another drink of equal value or offer to refund the cost of the item. You do not substitute it with a product that costs a dollar less. Really upsets me, as I order from here fairly regularly.

The people at Potbelly are wonderful. HOWEVER, Door Dash handles the deliveries, and they are horrible. It’s entirely possible for them to be 1-2 hours past their delivery time. I received a text from Door Dash saying my delivery was running late and would be at 8:33. The text timestamp was at 9:02. It’s not an isolated case, and the driver didn’t actually arrive until 9:20. I had already cancelled the order, no idea what they did with the food. They marked the order as delivered.

BY FAR THE WORST POTBELLY..!!
Specifically when the lady is the manager, EVERYTHING goes wrong, Every. Single. Time! I even stopped ordering online, because of the last 5 orders, 4(!) of the pickups turned out to be wrong (which I found out at home of course, so I had to walk back and get it fixed again, very annoying). After the 4th time she finally told me that I would get one free sandwich on the next order.
So today, I just went there (without ordering) to make sure that the sandwich was at least right and the same lady (manager) was behind the counter. As per usual, she was distracted, not paying any attention to her customers or her work for that matter. I pay her with a 20 dollar bill, she gives me change when she gets distracted again. She tells me I had the wrong receipt, I asked her: well did I at least pay the right amount? She punches in the right receipt and it was the same amount. She gets distracted AGAIN, and knowing that I paid, I walk off, when she comes running after me, saying that I haven’t paid. I tell her I did, she tells me I didn’t and that I should check my wallet. I get the exact change that she gave me and she just looked at me. No excuses, no sorry, nothing. Another customer had to tell me that I was all good to go.
It absolutely blows my mind how often things go wrong here. Terrible service, consistently wrongly dressed sandwiches and now this. This is the last time I went here. It’s a disgrace.
