I bought food last night here and I had leftovers today. While mixing the food before heating, I noticed a dark strand of hair in my food. This is not sanitary at all and I am not sure if I will be coming next time. I would like to get a refund please.

Double orange chicken isn’t DOUBLE orange chicken anymore. The portions are smaller and smaller every time I go, to the point I had to write this review. Disappointed and still hungry.

What made it worse is my fried rice was light too. It felt like I ordered something from the kids menu.

The fortune from the fortune cookie says it all.

The next time I came to this location, I went inside. Thirty minutes to closing and Sajjan and Shamel gave us Excellent customer service. Another employee was trying to shut down our orders but Sajjan came through and overrode his decision. Shamel gave us a drink while we waited.

It’s hard to deny that orange chicken….

I want to start by saying I genuinely like Panda Express and usually have good experiences, especially at the Huntersville location. That’s why this visit was so disappointing. While waiting at the register, I overheard two employees one who was named dodge having an extremely graphic and explicit conversation about their sexual experiences. The details being shared were crude, degrading, and completely inappropriate for a public workplace where families and customers are present.it was an ongoing conversation loud enough for customers to clearly hear. It created an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment that felt more like a locker room than a restaurant. Also one of the workers was flirting with a lady while her order was being processed. Sajjan was polite and provided good customer service, and the food itself was fresh with good portions. However, the behavior of other staff members overshadowed the experience. Management seriously needs to address professionalism and workplace standards at this location. Customers should not be exposed to explicit conversations while ordering food.

The design of this place is nonsensical and frustrating in every possible aspect you can imagine. They have a double drive-thru, yet it is utterly pointless, as they always have it closed off, blocked with traffic cones.

Then, there is absolutely no point at all in placing an order beforehand. As when you arrive, you will still be forced to wait in line along with other cars that are placing their orders in person. So yes, it won’t matter that 15 minutes ago you got the confirmation text message that your order was ready. Because it will simply sit there, as you wait behind someone who just ordered at the speaker, as they prepare that person’s order live in the moment. And then the cherry on top, is that workers either don’t care and/or have enough common sense and consideration to ask the car ahead of you at the window to pull into a parking space, so that people who had online orders can pull forward to the window and get their food…..which at this point is now approaching the 20 minute mark of just sitting their.

So yes your egg rolls are getting soggy, your entrees are getting cold and the ice in your drinks are melting and making your drinks watered down.

But look the bright side, there is at least one positive though. You’ll have more than enough time to pull out your phone and leave a Google review, as I just did, as your car idles eternally. Hey there’s a silver lining to everything in life right? Smh.

I will say the food here is perfect. Compared to the other Panda expresses I go to across the city they have it that suits my taste. I feel like it could be spicier for some dishes that are supposed to be spicy. However it is delicious and to meet everything is cooked perfectly. My biggest complaint is due to the fact that they’re so busy they definitely do not prioritize online orders at all. And I find myself waiting an extra like 10 to 15 minutes past my actual pickup time and I usually place an order like 20 minutes before I’m about to get there. But yeah usually it takes me from the time I place the order on the mobile app to picking up my food a roughly 35 minutes for them to scan it on their own. I have to usually go inside and ask them for my food like 10 minutes after my actual pickup time in order to get it anytime sooner than that. This is mainly when they’re really busy when they’re slow it instantly done. I will say the biggest contributing factor is that they’re waiting for food to come out fresh because they run out of something and they prioritize customers who are already in line for somebody who ordered 20 minutes ago. And a lot of time I’ve gone in and asked them for my food because it’s been 15 minutes after my pickup time and I haven’t had anything from them. And I can see them go and when the guy goes to get the food they’re literally scooping up the food and finishing plating my meal that’s just been sitting there with everyone else’s. So in that case the food still hot. So I’m not mad.

And that also goes for portion sizes when they’re like not that busy I feel like I get a bigger portion size from the play I’m ordering but if they are super busy they give me last food.

This is my favorite Panda Express in all of Charlotte the rest of the ones I’ve had worst wait times and the food quality is not as good and consistent as this location. That’s mainly why they’re getting the four stars because their food is always perfect what comes down to the problem is there service and readiness. If you’re not waiting in that line with everyone else it doesn’t matter how long ago you place your order you’re not getting your food before them. They really need a dedicated person that’s running the doordash and mobile orders during their busy times. As I go like several days in a row and it’s a consistent issue.

im convinced everyone leaving reviews are just picky, hard to please people because i have 0 complaints. i never leave reviews but this place needs justice. the food was hot, restaurant was clean, workers were happy and the location is easily accessible. the portions fed me twice that day and it was SO good. honorable mention of the fresh broccoli they had, 10/10 broccoli beef.

I’m rarely in Concord, but decided to get something quick from Panda Express. I placed an online order, but quick it was not. There were so many people waiting, I ended up going to sit in my car.

I ordered the chili crisp shrimp, a spring roll, and cream cheese rangoon. The food was good on a cool night. They just need to tighten up the service to match.

It’s 7:18pm on today Thursday January 8th. The line is out the door. Employees are talking amongst themselves. The cooks appear are more interested in their conversations than cooking food. Almost thought about walking out and spending my money to get food somewhere customers are actually the priority. Not sure if there is a manager here tonight but if there is, they need serious coaching on how to appropriately manage this place! Won’t be back here anytime soon! Terrible management!!!

It’s fast food Chinese food. Not good but consistent. This one seems to be lacking help on one side of the kitchen or the other all the time. Lots of empty serving bowls. Barely warm food. The ladies behind the counter were patient and kind in spite of the crowd and the lack of kitchen help.

I usually enjoy Panda Express and their food, but my experience at the drive-through at the Derita location was extremely disappointing due to poor customer service.

When I began placing my order, the employee taking orders interrupted me before I could finish my sentence to say they were out of an item. I politely asked what else they were out of so I could choose accordingly, and his response was, “I don’t know, but like I said, we don’t have that item.” The tone was dismissive and rude. When I selected another menu item, he then said, “I have a little bit,” which only added to the frustration.

What made the situation worse is that I came almost two hours before the restaurant closed, so I’m not sure why multiple items were unavailable or not being prepared with that much time left in the day.

The entire interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. So much so that I drove away without even ordering food tonight. Customer service matters just as much as food quality, and because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this Panda Express location, I will not spend my money at an establishment that does not show that they value the customers putting Money into their business.
