Solid hibachi place in Manteca off of the 99. Hidden in the corner of a plaza. It is a no frills teppanyaki restaurant with decent prices. Service was easy and pretty fast. The only serve sriracha here, no spicy sambal or chili spice. The food was good, not as big of a show as I’m used to for the teppanyaki but our chef was nice and the food was fair. Negative star for mixing up our order with another group dining with us. Our table asked for medium rare and the other side asked for medium steaks and he mixed them up. To be clear, the neighboring guests did agree to medium rare when the chef asked again so she probably added to the confusion. Food was plentiful, the dinner option comes with shrimp, soup, and salad. The salad was drenched in dressing ( was good but soggy due to overload). The veggies were very fresh.

The restaurant is in a grocery store anchored strip mall. Seemed a little worn down. The Teppanyaki side of the restaurant was nice, but if you want to sit and eat sushi, they only have a couple of small tables stuck next to their cleaning supplies and storage area. The food was good, and we would come back if they had a better place to sit.

Fun way to celebrate birthdays for two of our group of five! The whole experience was great – pleasant wait staff, entertaining chef, and fabulous food! We had a wide variety of items from calamari to tuna steak. The table shared several rolls, loved them all but would highly recommend the Yum Yum Roll. Nice to have a restaurant such as this in Manteca ❤️

Ordered for takeout sashimi are freezer burn types of quality, zero freshness but did not stink. Sushi rolls are decent but full of deep fried stuffs and cream cheese. I would not come back; this place has poor quality freshness and tries too hard to maximize profit margin that you are eating just fried batter and low quality freezer burn fishes.

We went here for lunch after church. It’s in our neighborhood, and our daughter wanted sushi. This place popped up in a Google search. The rest of the family wanted Teppanyaki. We all ordered 4- Steak & Shrimp, 2 with Garlic rice (an upcharge). My oldest daughter who wanted sushi also had a Salmon with Cream cheese roll, and she specifically asked for No Sesame seeds, amd her order was perfect. Much so, that she wanted another order. I ordered a Y Roll I think… that’s the one they put over the fire and it’s in foil. My husband ordered the Manteca roll. All the rolls were a great accompaniment to all of our other delicious food. The service was great and they were very very attentive. Even as we were leaving, the owner was cleaning the fish tank, and he was teaching my daughters why he had to that. We will definitely be back again! Maybe at least 1 or 2xs a month! It was delicious, fun, and overall a great family memory and experience!
