This was genuinely the worst restaurant experience I have had in a really long time.

First, the food is very expensive. $20 for a beef shawarma plate, add $3 for a can of coke, a couple extra pita, extra sauce, tax, you are paying $30 for a shawarma plate. My friends shawarma wrap cost him over $20 dollars.

Second, the service was bad. Objectively bad. My friends and I came in and ordered separately, by the time I got my food, my friend was already done with his dinner. If you want all your food at the same time, you have to put all the food on one order, and I’m not even sure this staff would be able to pull that off. 2 of our orders were completely wrong out of 5 total. The cashier had no idea what he was doing, and the chef didn’t seem to care.

Third. I saved the worst for last: The food. The food was horrible. My beef shawarma was so salty that I couldn’t even finish half of it(and I’m a big guy who was very hungry at the time). I think that was the first time I ever I had to stop eating food because it was bad. My buddy got a shawarma plate to-go for his girlfriend and I legitimately feel bad for her. My buddies said that this was just an off night for them, but I’ll never know because I will never be back.

Good luck to this restaurant! I love Mediterranean food, so I am actually rooting for this place, but if my experience is the norm I am not hopeful.

Order at the counter, they call you when it’s ready. Really delicious kebab and shawarma.

We had Shish Taouk Kebab (chicken) and Kefta Kebab. (Beef) very flavorful; completely different spices than we’re used to in the USA.

Most of the food that I ordered from the menu is not available a little bit expensive for the taste. Not as authetic as I imagined. The one who took my order doesnt know about the menu. I need to show each one. Service is also slow.

Elegant and casual, all at the same time! Excellent food. Comfortable place to hang and talk. Love going there with my daughter. Grateful to any place that my teenager still wants to have tea with Dad.

This is a beautiful restaurant, with the kindest cashier that took my order. The food is so so tasty I went back to get it for a second time in the same week! It was delicious!! I had the chicken shawarma wrap and wow it was so fresh and juicy. And the chicken kabob plate was just perfect!

Everything at Damashkey Cuisine is so SO GOOD. We are *never* getting kefta or baba ghanouj at one of those bland chain restaurants ever again!

The portions are generous, the tea is *piping* hot — I wish I had thought to order a whole pot of it! — and the Turkish delight is a new favorite in our family.

10/10, will definitely be back!

Great food and amazing staff! We were kind of shocked that it was such a nice restaurant but they don’t have servers. You order your food and wait to be called and get it yourself which didn’t seem to fit the cuisine or the interior but food was great none the less!

When I first saw this place opened I thought wow finally in this one horse town authentic Middle Eastern food. And I ve been there 2 times it was about 10 months ago.

As of today- over salted, overpriced shawarma wrap, with some kind of vinegar dressing? So where is this coming from? Did you all come up with a new recipe… well it didn’t turn out well. Not coming back unfortunately. You can learn more if you come to Texas and visit local shawarma place

Very(!) good food BUT the pita “slices” area bit of a rip off. Each order of pita is a 1/4 portion of a small pita.
Just know you’re going to run out and you’re going to be disappointed at the middle of the meal.
Again, very good food, but going cheap on something as trivia as the pita is a weird route to go.
