Absolutely worth the drive! We came over an hour after seeing this spot on TikTok and it did not disappoint. The shaved ice was the best we’ve ever had—fluffy, flavorful, and so refreshing. Joey was awesome, super friendly, and made the experience even better. Definitely worth the hype!

Go try this place!! I got their passion fruit guava shaved ice with strawberry pocky, sweetened condensed milk, and mochi pieces and it is SO good. I can’t believe how big the portion is, this was a small!! I also got the passion fruit guava boba and it was awesome, I love a good boba and it hit the spot. I also got their fresh malasadas on Saturday when they were frying them fresh, and it was a good donut! I’ve never had a malasada from anywhere else other than in Hawaii, so I’m glad this was introduced to Lakewood. Look at how much sugar they put! You have to go here!!

I had never heard of this place, and glad the Yelp Elite Experience made me aware of it, and NOW it is on my radar. I plan on stopping by here anytime I am in the area. GREAT experience. So, we got lucky and walked in with no one there. It got packed as we ate our dessert. Cool restaurant area, nice relaxing TV area, and the folks behind the counter were receptive and welcoming. They have a whole other two sections of the menu, but we focused on the dessert/shaved ice side of things. You basically pick a flavor and then design the rest of it. Fun. Wife got a strawberry with her adds, and I got the Wintermelon with chocolate pocky, strawberry syrup, and mango popping pearls. First of all, I enjoyed it immensely. No complaints. Second, I already know exactly what I am getting next time (always a good sign). I am going to do a different flavor, the condensed milk on top, and Oreo crumbs. Third, the mango popping pearls were magical. I was calculating the number in each bite so I had enough for the end bite. Fourth, the servings were BIG. We got smalls, and we were full when we left. Cool little spot that you need to try, and then spread the word about. I highly recommend you swinging by, and see you there…

There’s a reason this place has 5 stars. It’s amazing. The guy helping us decide what to get was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient with our excited toddler. We got two teas, one of their specialty donuts and a mango ice bowl. Everything was exceptional and I was happy with what I paid.

staff is soooo kind and attentive and walks orders out to your table. deserts and tea and toppings are fresh. the whole place is sooo clean and pleasant to sit/dine in. 10/10 from service to drinks to the great shave ice

This is one of our fave dessert shops in the area. Shaved ice is my families favorite. Especially if you love milk tea with boba now you can get it in a frozen treat! Joey was fantastic at guiding us through the menu and flavors. 10/10!

Went to TropiTai on a whim while visiting Denver and have never experienced shaved ice like this. The ice itself is flavored depending on what you order and shaved in a way that gives it a melt in your mouth texture. We ordered the wintermelon shaved ice with pearls and it was delicious! I’m not particularly too big on sweet desserts but this wasn’t overly sweet. I recommend asking for no condensed milk drizzle if you don’t want it too sweet. Delicious ice, friendly staff, and clean environment. Highly recommend!

Delicious, real shaved ice! Got the passion fruit guava with chocolate pocky and condensed milk, so good. Joey got our orders fast and made sure everything was to our satisfaction, highly recommend!
One thing I don’t really recommend is the brown sugar milk tea, it’s heavy on the syrup and could use a higher ratio of milk tea.
