The food was nice and the staff were kind, they’re usually pretty busy with how they manage a lot of customers

My friend and I both ordered the pork course for the hotpot and it was very filling by the end

Really good in my opinion as someone who isn’t local and travelled in

Have had shabu here multiple times and loved it, so can’t really speak on kbbq. Really healthy and light food, and a good quantity when you factor in the meat + noodles + porridge

Probably won’t return: the marinaded beef is bit too sweet. (Is there one Korean restaurant that doesn’t serve beef marinaded on the sweet side?)

We walked in at 12 noon and it was all Korean speakers, which tells me that they’re authentic

Simple and functional decor, especially like the ceiling design.

The serve sucks on her teeth while taking our order. The bbq plate doesn’t fit well – so be careful, don’t put pressure on it.

The sides: the green salad is wonderful; kimchi is ok; the little chopped side is the best. It’s the first time seeing macaroni in a Korean restaurant.

The bill came before we finished our meal. The hook in the bathroom stall is too high for shorty like me -:)

Parking on site.

Really unique take on Korean shabu shabu. I really enjoyed the food and clean bathrooms and great customer service.

I highly recommend the beef brisket and pork shoulder. it’s sliced super thin and cooks quickly in the steaming broth. After you finish your meat and veggies, they add udon noodles transforming the dish. Once you’re done with that they add a egg and rice to turn the savory broth into a amazing porridge. Soo Soo good!!!

Highlight of my otherwise miserable LA trip!! The staff does not speak much English, so at first it felt like they are not the most friendly servers. But they are so fast with any request and from their smile (you can tell even when they are wearing masks!) I believe they truly want us to have a good experience. This is the first time I tried Korean style shabu shabu and it is an absolute success. I love the large portion of veggies with herbs in it. Also love the udon and porridge in the end–so flavorful and satisfying!

Came for dinner on a Friday night with a friend. Valet is offered in the lot for $3; valet closed around 9:30 PM and they’ll find you inside the restaurant to give you your keys back, along with collect the $3 fee. Service was ok, they speak broken English and they speak Korean. The food was good; we had the seafood pancake and 3 course Shabu Shabu with Beef. The seafood pancake was ok; we asked for the pancake to be extra crispy but it came out a little soggy and with a lot of veggies mixed in. For the 3 course meal, the first course is Shabu Shabu, second is Udon with the same broth, and third is porridge with the same broth and one egg. First course was good, second we skipped, and third was ok; porridge didn’t have much flavor. Restaurant was relatively clean, as was the restroom. Price was ok too, not too expensive (~$25-$30/person).

I took my mom here because she likes Shabu Shabu. Minimum order is for 2 people. So it costs $88 plus tax for Shabu Shabu for two people. Personally I do not care for Shabu thing (it’s just thinly slice meat lightly dipped into boiling water along with vegetables.)
I ordered Ugoji Galbitang which is a soup with rib meat and cabbage leaves. It wasn’t seasoned enough in my opinion and too bland. I tasted Shabu Shabu and it wasn’t bad. But I think Ugoji Galbitang being not so tasteful, that reflects some issue so I give 3 stars.
Service was fast and good, clean place!

This place was really good. We got the hot pot with pork shoulder and steak, which was delicious. After we finished the hot pot, we ordered one short rib for barbecue, which was also really good. A good authentic experience overall, but it did not have the fun vibe of some of the other Korean barbecue place we have been to. Would recommend for a great dinner, though.

As a Korean, I was finding for some decent place to enjoy food from my home. My experience here was perfect. Galbitang was pretty outstanding and both quality and quantity of the food was great. I really recommend this place for both foreigners who want to enjoy Korean food and also Korean too.
