We stopped in for lunch and to kill some time. We went with the fajita and pastor torta and a child’s quesadilla with rice and beans. Both were spot on. Hot, fresh, and delicious. My only complaint was the salsa. It was watery and not very flavorful.

Went in for breakfast. Got our drink order, and it smelled like sewage. (Should have left then) My husband and I ordered I got the complete breakfast. (We will just be talking about my food) When the food came out, the 2 pancakes were burnt. I asked for over easy and got over-medium. So I told our waitress, and she said she told the cook that the pancake didn’t look good and he sent it out anyway. I got a new plate and asked for over easy and still got over-medium. The pancake was a little bit burned on one of the edges. I told our waitress it wasn’t good, but I didn’t want anything else. She said I could make it better at home and I said same. I should have just stayed home. By this time, it was lunch already. I was so upset that I just wanted to go home. We paid for everything, and when we got the bill, we saw yall charge extra for eggs. No notice beforehand. I didn’t eat any of the eggs, a bite of bacon, and maybe half of the pancake. I could even speak because I was so upset. I definitely will not be back.

The go to spot for breakfast. The tacos hit the spot and on cold days their soups are fantastic. I suggest the caldo de marisco. (Chef’s kiss) Ask for Bianca, top notch service with a smile.

Ordered the taquitos. They are basically the same as taco truck tacos. Came with chips and salsa. The chips were ok, the green sauce they bought to the table was not bad also. The salsa served with the chips was diabolical though. Looked like dish water. The taquitos were ok-ish although quite bland. Grilling the onions was a nice touch but to be honest it’s not needed for tacos. The quality of the fajita beef was also fair at best. Also the restroom was pretty disgusting and seemed as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Only positive side would be the price is not too bad.
I wish I could give a more positive review because the server was nice, polite and attentive whilst not being overbearing.

Wow, 1st time eating at this restaurant, I know they have a few around town, this was in Pasadena. The food was awful. Like how do you get a quesadilla wrong? Here’s how, the tortilla was dry, the meat was dry and very little cheese. The guacamole had too much citrus so didn’t taste authentic, it changed the texture to kind of watery. Super disappointed for a Mexican joint not to be able to hold down the basics.

I’ve been here in the past when under old management, not the best. However, the new management has really stepped this place up to another level! The plates are delicious. Love the tacos Al carbon, elote, pozole, and I always get the limited time/seasonal items that never disappoint. And the DRINKS!! Not only fun and Instagram-worthy, but soooo delicious. I have to be careful I have a driver when I come here now because they always have new drinks I want to try!! Great Job, Arandas Pasadena!!

Food was good for the price. Place was not busy after 9pm. My wife and I were entertained by the DJ and other customers doing karaoke .

Let’s get past the fact that they can’t decide if they want to be a nightclub or a restaurant. If you can hear the person in front of you talking, I’ll buy your first margarita. Arandas was never my first choice, but they’re more convenient than some of the other Taquerias around me. And if this was the first time that they had completely gotten my order wrong, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But as the saying goes, fool me once, shame on me, fool me half a dozen times, what are you even doing! To add insult to injury, when I brought up their mistake, I was greeted with attitude and eye rolls. Not from one server, but all three that I had to talk to, just to get my order corrected. Did I mention that during the whole process, no one, not anyone even said, “I’m sorry.” It looks like I’ve learned my lesson and will not be allowing myself to be disappointed in Taqueria Arandas for a while. We’re breaking up Arandas, and yeah, it’s you, not me.
