With 3 alcoholic and 2 pints of soft drink it was still under £70 which i thought was very reasonable.
From the snippets.lf conversation I heard it sounded like the rest of the customers were all regulars which is a great sign too.
Highly recommend!

We went with friends, we all had a fabulous time. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The food was first rate with big portions.
Altogether a fabulous evening.
Onion bhajis & aloo chaat for starters (it wasn’t authentic chaat but tasted nice) onion bhajis was delicious.
We had seen the size of portions coming out so ordered “side” size & we still couldn’t finish it all.
Fish tika was lovely as were dhal & potatoes. Favourite was paneer makhani, it was delicious but again wasn’t a traditional makhani. Paratha, rice & 3 pints of cobra. It was all great & if I lived in Warwick I’d eat here all the time
Let’s start with the good: the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — the kind that makes you feel welcome the moment you step through the door. And the naan bread? Easily the highlight of the meal. Freshly cooked in a Kashmir tandoori oven, it was soft, pillowy, and slightly charred in all the right places. If I could have just eaten a basket of that, I might be writing a very different review.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t live up to the naan. I ordered a fish curry, which arrived looking rather sad — grey, rubbery, and alarmingly overcooked. Texture aside, the flavor lacked depth and didn’t bring the rich, fragrant punch you’d expect from a proper Indian curry house.
The real kicker? Let’s just say my digestive system went on a turbulent journey for several days afterward. I’m not sure what ingredient triggered it, but I spent more time in the bathroom than I care to admit.
In short: friendly service and phenomenal naan, but the rest of the meal left me regretting the visit. Proceed with caution — and maybe bring your own Imodium.
