This was my first time trying Taqueria Los Boxitos, and I’m very impressed! I ordered chicken street tacos from my son, which he loved, and panuchos for myself.
The panuchos are amazing and I will order them again. Yum

The food is amazing! This is maybe my favorite taco truck in town. I try to grab the $1 Cochinita Pibil tacos anytime I’m on that side of town on a Thursday. The pickled onions are the only onions I will eat (that haven’t been cooked into the dish). I’m excited to try the rest of the food they offer. The people are great, the food is amazing, the parking is a bit chaotic (and unfortunately I think that is due to their neighbors) and if they’re busy there can be a wait, but it is so worth it!

Really incredible food, like the best tacos I’ve ever had! They were very generous with portions and a perfect amount of cilantro and onions and limes on the side. Both red and green salsas were delicious. I tried the pollo asado, chorizo, and pastor and all 3 meats were cooked perfectly, great flavor, juicy, and tastes high quality. This spot blows every other Mexican restaurant in Springfield out of the water.

Tried this place for the first time and had to come back the next day for the second time! Diana, the owner, really kind. Parking is a bit tight but the food is so good. My favorite are the lechon al horno tacos. Flavorful and definitely made with love!

The food here is absolutely delicious every time, and the service is always great! Good variety of options, reasonably priced, and in my opinion is some of the best Mexican food in town. One of my favorite spots! Definitely worth trying if you’re craving tacos

These are probably THE BEST street tacos out here in Springfield. Reminds me of going to TJ for the food. Very close to home (originally from SoCal) Ordered 20 al pastor tacos for $1 taco Thursday and had to order more because they were so good. 10/10 delicious!!

Some of the better Mexican food we’ve had since moving from California!! They didnt have ceviche or horchata the day we went, otherwise I would have given 5 stars!! Portions were great, the lady who took our order was super nice! I would say the only downside is the location. Not much room to park, but otherwise all around a good experience, and will definitely be back!!!
