My husband and I love checking out new pizzerias, and we always judge a place by its plain slice. Zio’s Pizzeria in New City has the best plain slice I’ve had in a long time , it tastes just like a classic NYC slice. Truly a 10/10.
Rob, one of the owners, was also great. Even though the place was busy, he made sure everyone felt seen and taken care of. He was kind, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had a good experience.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a slice.

Most people judge the quality of a pizzeria by their plain slice, I prefer to do so based off of their speciality slices. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice and it was by far the best I’ve had from the New City area. And the owners are very friendly.

WOW! Incredible food. The meatballs were perfect and the sauce is exceptional. We really enjoyed the sautéed broccoli, prepared with caramelized garlic. The slices were delicious and enormous with an unusually generous amount of toppings. We enjoyed everything so much we asked them to cater an upcoming party. Super nice, warm and welcoming staff too!

Hands down one of the best pizza spots around! The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had that real homemade flavor, and the cheese melted just right. It’s my 3rd visit here. Today I had the most amazing Italian wedding soup I have ever had. Then this evening I ordered pizza, wings and calamari. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. In addition the kindness of the gentleman who took my order made me smile. They offer great food and great service. Keep up the good work.

Stopped for lunch, excellent pizza, sides and salads. Decided to have them cater a party. Incredible chicken and eggplant trays, pepperoni rolls and garlic knots. Such attention to detail for my order, delivered perfectly. Couldn’t have been nicer. I would highly recommend. I’ve been in the area my whole life. This is the new family favorite for everything!!
