Great service by staff. Pricing is good. One suggestion. Find your largest chicken tenders for your sandwich. This was my first visit. Got a small sized check in tender in my sandwich. Maybe normal?!?!? Not sure. I got the buffalo sauce. It was just right. Seasoning on fry’s are different and they have a sauce that is different/good also. Be sure to ask for a ranch as a substitute because it comes with two of the same sauces.

I finally had the chance to try Huston Hot Chicken, and I’ve got to say—the food quality is definitely there. Everything tastes fresh, the chicken is cooked well, and the seasoning has a nice kick without being overwhelming. You can tell they care about putting out a good product.
That said, I have to be honest about the portion sizes, especially with the 3 tender meal. The tenders are on the smaller side—so much so that I found myself wishing there was just a bit more on the plate. For comparison, the tenders at Dave’s Hot Chicken are literally twice the size and, in my opinion, have a little more flavor punch. Don’t get me wrong—Huston’s tenders are still tasty, but when you’re talking “hot chicken,” I’ve had better overall experiences elsewhere.
The sides are solid and pair well with the chicken, but again, you might leave feeling like you could eat just a bit more. If you’re someone who values quality over quantity, you’ll probably be happy here. If you’re looking for that big, bold hot chicken experience with massive portions, you might want to explore a few other spots.

I love Houston Hot Chicken! 5 stars! Would give more if I could. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! It is one of the best fried chicken and Nashville style Hot Chicken places I have had. My favorite are the tenders. The spice levels work for anyone even if you don’t like spice, they have a no spice option that is great. For me the “Medium” level was good. The salads are also great and the shakes are some of the best I have had in the region. I love the fries, the seasoning is so good! The atmosphere is super fun too. Whoever controls the music deserves a raise, it’s upbeat and groovy. There is a nice section to sit outside that is well lit so it’s perfect in the summer even at night when it’s warm. The staff are nice and willing to help you out even when it’s busy. If you download the app and scan your receipts, there are some pretty good deals that they have. The only feedback I would give is that it is a bit overpriced, anything to bring the prices down a bit would make this place even much better. You’ve got to check them out!

Fast and friendly service with a nice, clean atmosphere. I’m a fan of crinkle-cut fries—great texture, though the seasoning wasn’t quite my style. The chicken sandwich was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right level kick—enough heat to enjoy without overwhelming. The Puck chocolate chip cookie was a great finish to the meal and just the sweet I needed to wrap it up. Solid spot when you’re craving hot chicken!

Let’s talk chicken!!! I LOVE a good chicken tender, and I’m quite picky! As for the crispiness, 10/10. The sauce and flavors, 10/10. The thickness of the chicken is great for the price, but I am someone who doesn’t love the thickness of the Chicken wings. My husband loves it, I’m not the biggest fan. The ends of the tenders are divine. I just really like the sauce and the crisp together more than a chunk of chicken with barely any sauce, barely any crisp. The fries were perfectly crispy with a slight Cajun flavor. Loved it. Dipped in the house sauce and it’s so delicious.

We have been here a few times and it’s surprising nowadays to like a chicken place so much. The sandwiches are definitely juicy and leave little to be desired. The portions fill you and are moderately priced.
The salad is filling and flavorful.
It’s a great date night kind of location with a more casual vibe. The watermelon/cucumber drink reminds me of watermelon sour patch candies but less sweet.
The three piece tenders are not as flavorful as the sandwiches but they are still cooked well.
The sauce is more of a spicy aioli which makes it different than other places who do ketchup or fry sauce.
It’s definitely worth a try and if you like “kick” in your spice, but not overpowering flavor, then Mild will suffice. For those who cant handle any spice, honey mustard is also a good option. We will be back for sure as the food has been delicious on each occasion and the consistency has been fantastic.

Employees were great and generous! The chicken was delicious and the cheese sauce made the cheese sandwich amazing! The Blueberry lavender slush was smooth and sweet.
There is a missed opportunity of putting the menu in the entrance because I was 5th in line and couldn’t see what I wanted to order. I came here based off a recommendation and I was only able to see the menu once I was second in line to order. I noticed other people in line had the same issue which made the ordering process slow thereby people standing in line longer. But the chicken is free range, all natural and never frozen. Won’t forget that.
