I was downtown looking at things that used to be considered great, and now are just a resting place for heroin users, then outa nowhere I spot the Little Griddle @ Dough Restaurant!
Well…if they can hold out through the madness they must be doing something right, so in I went!
I got a cheeseburger on toasted sourdough, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

I have been here before renovations. So visit now was a very positive surprise. Not only it got fresh and cute inside but most importantly, the food is a HUGE stepup.

Great price, location, and perfect breakfast! Will be back for sure.

Went there for a quick Sunday brunch. The place was crowded but still manage get a seat. Friendly staff, but due to a large volume of workload, they might forget your side dish. Been there since before the renovation while still keeping the high food quality. They have both meat and vegetarian option which pretty good. I have tried most item in their menu, and I like the Benedict very much. If you go later, the coffee probably will be cold but it is understandable since it is a breakfast place.

One tip: if you want to eat inside, be sure ask the cashier about it or otherwise, you might not have a seat.

The iced coffee is fine; not that bitter, which is a plus! A lot of nice looking donuts, although I’ve only had their plain old fashioned — and both times, it tasted exactly like what you think it would! Not overly sweet.

A little messy, but I would like to come back for a breakfast platter or a sandwich during lunch.

Update from 8/9/23

This place is very consistent for some items. I have gotten the Go Getter plate with bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs and 2/3 of those items are very solid.

The hashbrowns are very hit or miss in terms of how crispy, oily/soggy, or seasoned they are. The tater tots — which I’ve gotten whenever they can’t do hashbrowns — have always been really crispy.

The caesar salad with grilled chicken added is also very passable. I have never had an issue with it, and I have it whenever I don’t pick up a breakfast plate from Little Griddle.

The ambient music is generally 1950s-1960s swing / soul, and it’s a nice vibe.

I had the Hungover burger and a side of fries. The sauce was great, burger perfectly cooked and portioned. Food did not take long and was ready to go.

I ordered pickup on Uber Eats but it kept taking me across the street to a closed location. Next time I’ll order from the QR code on their menu to make sure they get all of the proceeds.

I will be trying this place again soon.

Great comfort food restaurant. Fries are crisp, as are the wonderful tots. Burgers are delicious and can easily be split and fill up two people. Great breakfast food and fresh juice.

Busy Thursday brunch time made our wait longer than expected. Food was fine, we found another option for our second morning.

Coffee was mid. Got the ham egg and cheese on brioche, it was fine but the egg/cheese/bacon/bread ratio was off (lot of bread). No sauce so the whole thing was a bit dry. NO OUTLETS AND NO WIFI so not a good place to set up camp if you have some work do to. Also the whole affair was pricier than it was worth.
