My friend ordered the sausage caciattore and I ordered the tortellini pesto sausage pastas. The sausage caciattore was excellent – savory, a decent kick, everything cooked well, so a great choice. The tortellini pesto sausage was not the best. I thought the pest would have been a little drier but the pasta was drowning in the sauce. The pesto was also creamier than I would have liked. The whole thing had just one flavor, which was more creamy than pesto. I got the individual portion but it was still a lot to finish. Once the oils started separating out the next day, the pasta was more manageable to eat. I wouldn’t recommend ordering this.
For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and limoncello. The desserts were good. Limoncello was very nice. The tortellini downgraded this place from 4 stars to 3.5 stars. If they can make that sauce more pesto, less cream and more flavorful, this place is totally worth 4 stars or even higher.
They had the perfect table waiting for us on the patio. It was warm, cozy, and not too loud, which made it easy for all of us to actually hold conversations without shouting across the table. That alone was such a win for a larger group.
The food was beyond amazing. Before our dishes even hit the table, we all kept commenting on how incredible everything smelled. Every plate that came out looked beautiful and tasted even better. And the bread? Some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, warm, and completely addictive.
The service was absolutely on point. Attentive without being intrusive, organized with a big group, and genuinely kind.
We’ve officially decided this is going to be our go to spot at least once a quarter. If you’re looking for a place that nails atmosphere, food, and service, Gregorio’s is it.
Unfortunately, they didn’t remember there was a 30(+) people party that was scheduled to have dinner at the same time that would be taking up the entire covered patio. so we were sat on the side of the building between a wall and a planter where the members of the party had to squeeze by and bend over our table to get to their very beautifully set up patio.
So when we asked to sit inside, we grabbed our own silverware and were sat at the smallest table in the middle of the room. Not at the nice corner table by the windows or the high table with the beautiful decor on the wall. There were two other tables being used and a few couples at the bar eating. Not busy at all, plenty of room to accommodate a couple having dinner on their anniversary.
The strawberry lemon drop was good though.
We got the check at left. So disappointing. The food on the menu on the website looked like it could be good.
The handmade pizzas were a hit at our table — absolutely delicious — and the gluten-free pasta was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband loved the gnocchi. Everyone was raving about their meals!
Our server was an absolute queen — charismatic, attentive, and made our night so much fun. She truly elevated the whole experience. The wine selection was fantastic as well, perfectly complementing the flavorful dishes.
If you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine with great vibes and exceptional service, Gregorio’s is the place to go! Can’t wait to return.
The service is always great. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable of the menu options.
Tonight we even sat and chatted with the owner as he was sitting at the bar top where we were eating.
