Food was average, service was lack luster, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS! Feel like that should be on the door and menus and is not. They charge for everything, to go cups, to go plates, if you share there is a $3 up charge on the menu, your restricted to one refill, IF they even offer it to you. This for me is a one and done kind of deal, I usually try to experience a place twice before saying I won’t go back, but the wife and I probably won’t go back.

Prices are Excellent!! Under $5 for a breakfast sandwich and this place is a home cooking place, made to order. You will not find any place better in Lenoir!! They also serve lunch. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’s Great!! You have to stop in and try it. Update, that’s the ham and cheese omelette with grits. Cost $10.14 tax and all. Comes with a large coffee or tea. If there’s a better place for breakfast in Lenoir, I don’t know anything about it.

Went here for breakfast and it was ok. Not bad but not great either. Had livermush and scrambled eggs. The livermush tasted like it had been cooked on a grill that hadn’t been cleaned. There were bits of black crusty pieces all over it that had a burnt taste with the texture of sand. The scrambled eggs were just tiny pieces of egg (looked like it had been chopped to oblivion) that was really hard to eat because the little pieces kept falling everywhere. The coffee was good and the waitress was nice. Wont go back as there are better places around

A friend and I get breakfast together at Paula’s about once a month and it’s consistently delicious. They’re always on their game—friendly from the moment you walk in, whether you’re a regular or a first time customer, and speedy in their service. They make excellent omelets and everything I’ve gotten has tasted just like good old down-home breakfast! If you have special requests they’re flexible… they were willing to make my omelet with egg whites and give me whole wheat toast. If you’re gonna grab breakfast in Lenoir, Paula’s should be on your list!!!
