The food was great! I ordered a grilled chicken it had a great taste and some yuca fries! Hubby had the quail which he loved the flavor was soo good, and he paired it with Dominican rice! We order mango drinks they were so rich in flavor! If you want to dance or listen to music while you eat this is the place to be at! The service was great very welcoming! The price was pretty good for great quality food.

The other reviews are fake! Came to this place with high hopes and was very let down. I don’t know how the place calls itself a restaurant—this is a bar that, occasionally and with much patience, you can get food at. They are basically at the mercy of the cook actually coming in that day. We had to wait about an hour for them to get there. That being said, the sampling platter we ordered was okay. The best thing was the fried cheese and tostones. The worst thing was the wings which had no seasoning. 10 BEERS AND A PLATTER WAS $200. Another thing was that the egocentric owner provided a very… let’s say, immersive… experience. He will be a part of your table and conversation and push you to purchase as much as you can. Although he interrupted our conversation to play his favorite song, he was also upset because we were on our phones and not dancing. Not fun. Everyone who works there (3 people) seem like they’re being held hostage. The bathroom smells like drainage. Overall weird experience.

It is rare to find a Dominican style restaurant in Houston but thank god for this one, I tried the mangu (mashed plantains) and it was savory and delicious. Also had their chicken wings which was well seasoned. Im thankful that houston can now have a sample of Dominican food in the area. Strongly recommend!

I would not recommend, I called and the person who answered was rude, and unprofessional. VERY disappointed because I am Dominican wanting to host a party of 30 and it disgusted me the poor service in our own community.
