Today was my first trip to this cute little space. The breakfast sandwich and cappuccino were really tasty and priced fairly. However, the reason I wanted to leave this review is the staff. they were absolutely wonderful. They asked the right questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. staff that weren’t waiting on us directly were conversing and laughing with us. They bussed our table quickly but didn’t rush us out the door. And best of all, they remembered my name. I found that impressive. Especially since we sat at our table for quite a while. It’s a tiny space and very tight seating but I highly recommend the experience.

We visited Kelly’s Bakery twice during a short trip to Poughkeepsie. Both times we ordered our regular lattes, which were perfectly crafted, and indulged in their baked goods. The apple cake was perfectly spiced, the chocolate babka was tender and delicious, and the spiced Chai breakfast roll was full of flavor and AMAZING!
They have a very comfortable and cozy dining space with garage door style windows they can open when the weather is good, as well as a few outdoor tables as overflow when the inside tables are full.
Everything was very clean and well organized, including both bathrooms.
Every employee was kind and welcoming, even during a busy Sunday morning rush.
Kelly’s Bakery is definitely on my DO NOT MISS list. Give them a try. You’ll be glad you did!!

Very delicious bakery! From the toast to the banana bread to the basque cheesecake, everything is really well made. It’s also a very relaxing cafe with open windows.

The people here are incredibly sweet and kind. They have a strict no outside food or drink policy that they make very clear. The staff handle anyone disrespecting that with absolute grace. Watched a trio of Karen’s get kicked out because they repeatedly crossed this. Heard the Karens say “wait till you see our yelp review on this place” and stormed off. So I’m here to say that the staff here were super respectful and gave them many warnings.
The food was stellar and their flavors for lattes are top tier.
Absolutely will be back!

Let me tell you rn to whoever is reading, THIS right here bakery is worth every penny you spend
Do not be intimidated/mistaken by the plethora of Vegan, Gluten free, and dietary restriction friendly options within the establishment, because they absolutely do not sacrifice quality or taste in order to accommodate to a wider audience.
My favorites from here are (in descending order) The basque cheesecake, carrot cake focaccia, almond butter cakes, egg sandwich, and B.A.L.T sandwich.
Do not underestimate these culinary divas.

The food was alright, the workers were definitely not welcoming at all. I’ve never been there before so wasn’t sure how it works like bringing a number to my table, unable to take certain foods to go, and where to put our plates when finished & they seemed to have an attitude about that. Would not return merely based off of the service there.
& To clarify to your response there was no attitude from the worker about the dine in option I understood and decided to dine still, all the workers seemed pretty unfriendly, & the environment as a whole was award and hostile. Wanted to try the food which was not bad but like I said the customer service and snoody environment would make someone not want to come back which I do see multiple other reviews talking about how rude the workers are there so I guess that’s a pretty common complaint for this establishment.

The mushroom toast is definitely my absolute favorite! I have to say, it’s probably one of my favorite toasts ever, where the savory, meaty and woody mushroom paired perfectly with the creamy cheese! My wife also loved their avocado toast where the avocado spread was also very decadently creamy! The staff were also friendly and kind, conversing with us casually and it was a pleasure speaking with them. The cafe is very cute with spacious seating and welcoming designs all throughout, providing a comfortable ambiance for diners to relax and enjoy themselves, with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Overall, it’s a very cute cafe and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend their toasts for a quick and light bite, especially the mushroom toast if you like mushrooms!

Great bakery! A lot of fresh bread, baguettes and pastries. A lot of brunch options, good coffee. The whole atmosphere is nice. The line got a little long on Saturday morning, but we didn’t mind waiting. We got several things. The cheesecake was so tender and tasty! Almond croissants were great!

My absolute favorite bakery cafe in Dutchess County. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. The pastries and breads (banana bread!) are delicious and beautiful. They make authentic flaky croissants and a variety of country loaves that I’m always happy to serve to friends. The coffee is great and the owners and employees are uniformly friendly, kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
