I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the area and decided to try Lucky Star. I ordered Szechuan Beef & House Special Fried Rice. The Szechuan beef had great flavor, but I would have liked it a bit more spicier – overall it was awesome. The House Special Fried Rice was average; not bad or great. The flavor was ok, but for the price I would have liked a bit more meat incorporated in the rice. Service was decent and the place is easy to find with plenty of parking! Overall I’d give Lucky Star a solid 4 out of 5 ⭐️ If you go then you should try the Szechuan beef and ask them to make it a bit spicier if you enjoy spicy food!

I would rate a big Zero 0 The food cost me 55 dollars for pure trash food the disappointment the wings look old and not edible the rice equivalent to chewing on plastic fried shrimp let’s just say again not edible it was fried and I couldn’t even identify if it was a shrimp or not I am furious I will be calling to obtain my refund shrimp broccoli horrible overcooked under seasoned and rubbery this food will get you sick I beg you go any place else but here it’s not right to spend your money and be given food as such

The noodles and stir-fried dishes were all very delicious. We also ordered an off-menu dish of spicy green peppers with tofu skin, which really satisfied my husband’s Northeastern Chinese appetite. We will definitely come back when we are here next time.

Wasn’t the fried rice I excepted and the shrimp egg rolls were burnt. The customer service was great.

Ordered from Door Dash and was happy with the timeliness of the delivery. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The dumplings were hard at the edges indicating they may have gone from freezer to the microwave. The won Ton soup had no flavor. I ordered a spring roll and was provided an egg roll. I will have to be hard pressed to patronize again.

Too expensive for the quality received.

Ordered beef and broccoli. I have eaten here several times before. The first time I called to complain about my order, they hung up on me. The second time I called about my issue, which was that the beef and broccoli was gritty like the broccoli hadn’t been washed properly. I was told that the broccoli was washed. If it was, it wasn’t done well and every bite was gritty and Sandy. I couldn’t eat it and they didn’t care. I ordered here so many times and will not order back. So rude and terrible customer service.

Quick, regular, pretty tasty Americanized Chinese food. You get what you pay for and what you ask for. Love the beef in garlic sauce and many other dishes. Epitomizes the idea that Americanized Chinese food is like meat + veg + brown sauce +fried rice + eggroll. Don’t go looking for like amazing niche things (mapo tofu, Shuizhu Niurou, etc.) because if they have it, it won’t live up to liek authentic expectations. But sesame chicken, General Tso, beef w/ X sauce, etc? No regrets

This is American style Chinese take out. Check your expectations at the door. But if you’re like me and love some sesame chicken, they do it right! I don’t even know what the difference is between orange chicken, sesame chicken, or general tso’s chicken. Regardless, I asked for spicy and it still isn’t that spicy but not sweet. This dish is my weakness and I’ll get it every time I’m nearby. So good.

Oh, and you can’t beat the price at less than $10 for lunch you can hardly finish, but I did.

The noodles were decent, but our chicken was raw. They did have good fortunes inside of the fortune cookies though. Will not be ordering from here again, and would not recommend. Update 4/9: went today for a refund, as they said they would give me but only received a refund for the chicken we ordered instead of the full meal. We paid $43 for food we could not eat, and I was refunded less than half of that price. Very dissapointed and will not eat here ever again.

Today we ordered chicken wings and shrimp fried rice, General Tso’s chicken, and spring rolls! Turns out, my boyfriend and I both got food poisoning. The chicken wings were rotten! Don’t waste your money, this place is awful.
