First, when we asked about the portion size of the Thai Laksa, they showed us a small bowl and claimed it was only enough for one person. Based on that, based on that we ordered two bowls, but each was easily enough to serve two people. This was completely misleading and felt like a tactic to make us order more than we needed.
The next day, we ordered Pad Kee Mao for lunch to-go, and the quantity was shockingly smaller compared to the dinner portions we had received the previous night. On top of that, they added a 15% gratuity charge for a takeout order, which is unreasonable.
When we called to raise the issue, they hung up on us without listening. We even went there in person, only to be told bluntly that nothing could be done.
We were a group of 10 people giving them significant business, yet they showed no respect or accountability. This restaurant is dishonest, unprofessional, and does not deserve anyone’s business.
It’s clear the staff cares about delivering good customer service, but unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to make up for the underwhelming food. For the price point, I expected a much better overall dining experience.
Unless you’re just dropping in for the friendly service, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on value. There are better options that deliver both great food and fair pricing.
The basil fried rice received high praise, and both the green curry and Panang curry were delightful. The pineapple fried rice was decent, though not as exceptional as the other dishes.
The waiters were sweet and provided quick service. For Thai food enthusiasts, this place is a must-visit, especially given its stunning location. Don’t miss out on trying the outdoor seating, which offers breathtaking views of the Aspen mountains and the beautiful street with its charming flower arrangements.
The noodles and special seafood plate was good
Noodles were super chewy and had bland flavor. Additionally we ordered the coconut rice upon the server recommendation which was just a tad of coconut milk and a load of sugar, which the server hyped it to us opposite.
After all this they have the audacity to add self gratuity of 18% which is mandatory only for party of 6 or above. When asked they said they didn’t realize we are only 4. Shameful.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this restaurant, maybe go to City Market and get frozen food.
The space inside is very small – there are only 4 tables. But the patio is really nice – surrounded by flowers next to the the Clark’s Market courtyard. There’s an option to order online for pickup. Not sure if they currently deliver. They let you order from the menu of the other Asian restaurants next door – you’ll have tons of options including many vegetarian and vegan ones. There’s a kids menu too – our kids love the sticky coconut and the wild rice.
