I never do 5 stars. I usually do 4 because in my opinion every business has room for improvement. However, this restaurant has my full attention. It is so good and at a reasonable price. I cant afford it everyday but I literally crave it everyday. I love their egg, cheese and sausage on wheat toast with jelly.

Two months ago I just started coming to this restaurant and loved it! It reminded me of the places my parents used to go back in the day. This was my fifth visit.
I just left there about 40m ago. Even though the food is great! I left there empty due to the service. Seriously they should not hire disrespectful children to serve or collect money.
Today I ordered by phone. Normally my self and guest dine in. When I arrived I was reminded they didn’t take credit cards. So I reached for the only one of two bills I had. I laid a $100 bill and change on the counter because the child services was taking and writing down an order…. the other services walked up to me and complimented my bag smiling happy that she could name the brand I smiled back.
However my server picked up the money and asked if I was done getting my money together. She could clearly see I was and I’d been standing there while. She continued to take orders looking at me cross eyed after I replied Yesss. She said I didn’t know if you were done or not. I said yes again she then swung around slamming my money back on the counter and took another phone customers order. I picked the money up and left. Leaving a few coins on the counter for her.
When sending my money I pay for and prefer kindness and respect from good people when dinning out. Should I let this child run me away from the place?

It is definitely a spot for the locals and small town celebrities because I do not understand the hype. The restaurant don’t accept cards and the waitresses tone was as dry as the bottom of a nursing home resident foot. Good morning took my money elsewhere.

I LOVE diners. And this one ticks all the right boxes for me: clean, inexpensive, tasty, and friendly.
The owner is the chef and one gets to watch him create magic in a well-choreographed routine at the grill. There’s limited seating (about 6 stools and 3 two-top tables) and a relaxed atmosphere, so don’t think you’ll get seated fast or served quickly. There are phone orders galore.
They take only cash.
The staff are as busy as the chef, but during the whole time we were there (about 1½ hours) the atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was cheerful and interactive. Lots of laughter. So different from places where everyone is on screen, and no eye contact.

Me and my husband loves their food it’s always made to our satisfaction and the prices are decent compared to others. Just wish they took card but oh well that will not stop us from supporting. Thank you Al & Sabrina for you dedication to NW Ohio.
